After returning to Qixing Territory, Velin summoned his subordinates in batches and had them each choose a Gold Coin from the Red Dragon's hoard. The result was disappointing: no one found the Destiny Card.
In the castle basement, Velin stared at the mountain of gold before him and fell into thought.
Guidance of Fate could not be wrong. As for why the Destiny Card could not be found, perhaps the time had not yet come.
Only when the right person, elf, or dragon entered this place at the right time and in the right place, choosing a Gold Coin that caught his or her fancy, might the Destiny Card be found.
"Don't be discouraged. If that item is in there, you'll find it eventually." Xuemiyya stood beside Velin and comforted him softly.
"It seems that Red Dragon will have to wait a while longer before getting his Gold Coins back."
In any case, the Destiny Card was not going anywhere. As long as he tried often enough, he would eventually find it.
Half a month later, the strange event known as "One Gold Coin" came to an end. Although many of Qixing Territory's senior officials were deeply puzzled by it, the lord must have had his reasons.
On January 10th, 9752 of the Radiant Calendar, the wonderful holiday came to an end.
Looking at the sixty books on nature piled on his desk, Velin felt his head ache. Had he known, he would not have made that bet with Kyle and lost three months of vacation.
"My lord, this is what you need to study over the next ten years. The strange spell recorded in that book cannot be used openly, after all. You should still familiarize yourself with proper Druid books." Kyle stood beside the desk and spoke slowly.
