"Just something I'd developed through years of military service." The one-armed man picked up his wine cup, made a toast, then took a small sip, a look of bliss appearing on his face.
Lester chuckled at the sight. He picked up his own cup, stepped forward to clink it with the one-armed man's, then drank half of it.
"Do you want your missing arm restored?"
Hearing this, the one-armed man froze on the spot and asked uncertainly, "Can you restore my missing right arm?"
"I'd say I have some skill in that regard."
The one-armed man sat upright and asked, "My lord, then what price must I pay?"
"Your story. How about it?"
"My story?"
The one-armed man repeated softly, then nodded and agreed.
"Milna, go out and play for now."

Milna replied with some delight and quickly left the stone house.
"My lord, what do I need to do?" The one-armed man looked at Lester and asked.
"Just sit there. Leave the rest to me."
Lester rose to his feet and came to the one-armed man's side. His fingertips drew slightly together, forming a tiny blade of light from Dawn Power, which he used to cut away the hardened flesh at the severed end of the arm.
The one-armed man watched the flesh fall to the ground, yet no blood flowed from the wound, nor did he feel the slightest pain.
Under the gentle Dawn Power, the flesh at the stump began to squirm and grow rapidly.
Chunks of flesh clung to the white bones and extended downward.
The veins attached to the flesh were clearly visible, with blood flowing through them.
In less than three minutes, a brand-new arm had regrown.
