Velin visited the Holy Third Dawn Kingdom, witnessed Leonas’s plans for a second Dawn Knight Trial, and took Lance and Rayne as students. He then returned to the Ilia Kingdom, where he reunited with Krell and discovered that Krell had been hiding Italia.

• Ovia joined Velin’s Griffin Knight Order, while Ignis accepted Kyle’s black crystal and agreed to serve him for three hundred years after reaching Legend.
• Leonas returned to the capital with Seraphina, visited his father Cloriel, and brought Velin to Third Dawn Knight Academy.
• Velin watched Malvina defeat Elinor in a contract duel, healed both girls, and asked Leonas for Ancient Steel Tree saplings.
• Velin put Lance through a harsh illusion trial and accepted him as his second student, while Rayne also agreed to follow him.
• Velin met with Cloriel about Lester and Leonas’s Dawn Knight prospects, then returned to Stardust Manor as Kyle helped Lyanna complete her transformation.
• Velin and his companions traveled to the Ilia Kingdom, where Kyle subdued knights who had accused them of aiding the Famine Cult and Velin met Cyprian and Kaos.

After Italia awakens, Velin visits his family and oversees Kavell’s courage trial before a Famine Cult plot against Xuemiyya sparks a sweeping purge across West River Province. As Velin approaches the Violetta Territory, its lord learns that his family’s secret ties to the cult have been exposed.

• Krell entered Italia’s Mind World, broke through her illusions by killing the fantasy version of himself, and reunited with her before she awoke and joined Velin’s celebration.
• Velin returned to Eagle Territory, met Ilisis’s son Kavell, and arranged a trial in which Kavell showed his courage by accepting punishment alongside Xing and then spending five days alone with a griffin egg.
• Ilisis began a ruthless investigation and purge of Famine Cult connections in Moon Shadow County while Velin traveled onward with his companions.
• Solos led Famine Cultists in an attack on Xuemiyya, but Kyle defeated the attackers and captured Solos, whose memories revealed the cult’s plan to sacrifice her and devastate Moon Shadow County.
• Velin ordered Kyle and Ignis to eliminate the Famine Cult throughout West River Province, and they purged towns and territories as Ilisis mobilized the Eagle Legion.
• King Belgrave authorized Valient to handle the cult crisis, and Valient left the capital after proposing that he help Velin secure a kingdom at sea.
• As Velin’s force reached Violetta Territory, Drossermir Violetta learned that his family’s old contract with the Famine Cult had been triggered by a priest’s death and that the secret might have been uncovered by Kyle’s soul search.
• Drossermir accepted his father’s decision to make amends, while the old man flew from the castle toward the approaching Sandora Floating Battleship.

Velin purged the Famine Cult from Violetta territory, received Kraismel’s blessing, and tested Valient through an illusion of a lifetime as king. He returned to Qixing Territory to find it prosperous and growing, then began planning its future while pursuing O'dor and summoning Greg.

• Velin accepted Duens's secret about a teleportation channel in exchange for judging the Violetta Family, and Duens executed the members who had fallen into evil alignment.
• Velin received the Violetta Orb and met Kraismel in an illusory projection, where she blessed him, strengthened his bond with nature, and transformed his Battle Qi into Mana Energy.
• Velin reached Moon Shadow County and put Valient through a King's Trial in which he lived an entire imagined life restoring the Black Thorn Dynasty and ruling as a ruthless emperor.
• Valient's real and virtual consciousness merged, and he concealed how much he remembered from the trial while Ilisis suspected that Velin had helped create a king.
• Velin returned to Qixing Territory, welcomed Hilda and Sisina, assigned them the returning warriors, and formally accepted Ignis into the territory.
• Belder told Velin that Qixing Territory had expanded to fifteen counties and that Luensha County's increased magic concentration seemed connected to Lord O'dor.
• Velin drafted a thirty-year development plan and entered the Gray Fog Space to find O'dor, who had fled through a hidden passage.
• Velin agreed to involve Aunt Flora in a plan concerning his uncle's diary, while Greg was summoned to External Platform Number Eight of Gray Mist Fortress.

Velin returned to Qixing Territory, reviewed Zexia and Zephirin’s progress, and followed Zephirin into Silfros Space. After defeating and learning the past of Astariah, he accepted her as a subordinate and placed her and Zephirin under Xuemiyya’s command.

• Velin reviewed the Gray Mist Fortress Auxiliary Army, promised to address Belder’s borrowing of Warriors, and heard Ulfric’s wish to enlighten the Underground World before appointing him to the Seventh Camp.
• O'dor accepted Velin’s request to teach him Floating Battleship construction, demonstrated dangerous potions, and showed him memories of his space-time duel with Jia, whose presence had spread magic power around Luensha County.
• Velin visited Jiangtaen County, met Basiao’s patrol soldiers, and reviewed the prosperous city before Hebrew and Abrien reunited with him there.
• Velin praised Zexia’s governance and heard Hebrew’s report on the Ice Sword Camp, then witnessed Zelia and Gabirila’s engagement and agreed to their Miracle Day wedding.
• Velin found Zephirin had become a High-Gold Ice Witch and led more than eight thousand soldiers, then entered Silfros Space with her and Xuemiyya to inspect her Transcendent plants.
• A white-haired Ice Witch attacked Velin and Zephirin’s camp with Ice Armored Warriors and Magical Beasts, but Velin’s knights defeated her forces and captured her.
• The captive identified herself as Esteria Calista Xibel of the Kingdom of Noart and described her history of abuse, flight, and desire for revenge, while Xuemiyya and Zephirin persuaded her to submit to Velin.
• Velin agreed to help Astariah seek revenge, placed her and Zephirin under Xuemiyya’s command, and welcomed Astariah as his subordinate in Qixing Territory.
