The Notebook Tama Brought Back

The first thing Kaze did after returning to the Uchiha Compound was carefully prepare dinner for Tama.

To that end, he had specifically bought a fresh crucian carp, removed all the bones, and gathered a handful of mugwort.

If you wanted fish to taste good, mugwort was an excellent seasoning.

And it was not rare, either. Wild mugwort could often be found on hillsides, by the roadside, and along the edges of fields.

Just tossing a handful into a fish stew could take its flavor to the next level.

It had to be said that Kaze truly spared no effort when it came to Tama's meals.

"Fish soup is ready."

After a round of busy work, Kaze split the stewed crucian carp in half, poured it along with the fragrant fish soup into Tama's food bowl, and carried it with both hands to the spot where Tama usually ate.

"Huh? Where's Tama?"

Only then did Kaze realize that Tama, who had been lying by the door before he started cooking, had vanished.

"Tama?"

Kaze raised his voice and began searching the house for her.

Tama leaped in through the window, holding her tiny head high—barely bigger than Kaze's fist—with such a proud look in her eyes that she seemed ready to float into the heavens.

Her paws stepped in elegant straight lines, her tail raised upright as she strolled leisurely to the dining table. Her hind legs bent slightly, and she flicked her tail, as though adjusting her posture.

Then Tama suddenly pushed off with all four limbs. A table over a meter high could not stop her leap.

In the blink of an eye, she was on the table.

Tama loosened her jaw, and the notebook she had been carrying fell onto the table with a slap.

Then, ignoring the astonishment on Kaze's face, Tama walked over to the fish soup on the table, lowered her proud head, and stretched out her pink tongue to smack away at the delicious broth.

The whole sequence was smooth and effortless.

Kaze stared, dumbfounded.

"Your dinner is over there, hey!"

It took Kaze a full four or five seconds before he remembered to complain about Tama stealing his food.

But...

Compared to his own dinner, the notebook Tama had brought back concerned Kaze far more.

Because the last strange thing Tama had brought back had been a Devil Fruit from the world of One Piece.

And...

It had even been a rather rare Logia Fruit.

Could this notebook Tama brought back also be from another world?

Although the notebook's owner had not written down his name, judging from his tone and descriptions of daily life.

This Marine seemed to be some sort of officer at headquarters.
