Everyone Who Has Seen These Sharingan Eyes Must Die!

Kaze vaguely remembered that the night Hinata was kidnapped happened to be the day the Kumogakure leader came to Konoha to sign a peace treaty.

As the person responsible for making it happen, Hiruzen Sarutobi had even arranged a welcoming ceremony.

The entire village was bustling with activity.

All he had to do was pay a little attention to the village's movements to pinpoint the exact time.

As for the Cloud Ninja Leader's escape route,

Kaze had already worked that out as well.

After all, he had lived in this world for ten years.

And Konoha itself was not large. There was basically nowhere he had not been.

To kidnap Hinata from the Hyuga Main Family and then retreat to Konoha's border as quickly as possible to meet up with the Cloud Ninja reinforcements,

there was only one route.

After weighing everything, Kaze spent the remaining two days developing the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.

After two days of experimentation, his command over the fruit's abilities had improved greatly.

At the very least, he could rapidly turn his body into an element.

Combined with his awakened Sharingan,

dealing with the Cloud Ninja Leader would naturally not be a problem.

After the incident, Hyuga Hiashi would lead people in pursuit as well.

He carefully observed every movement around him.

After lying in wait for three hours, footsteps finally sounded in the dead of night.

there were at least five people.

"Come to think of it, Kumogakure must have planned this operation for a long time."

"How could the leader possibly be the only one involved?"

Kaze thought to himself.

His Sharingan clearly saw every newcomer in the darkness.

The lead ninja had a strip of white bandage wrapped around his head, while a forehead protector bearing the Cloud Ninja symbol lay diagonally across his face, covering his right eye.

A dark beard had grown over his chin.

And tucked beneath his arm was five-year-old Hinata.

To keep Hinata quiet, the leader had knocked her unconscious long ago.

"We finally got her."

"Once we get through this forest, we'll meet up with our people. By then, even if Konoha's idiots catch up, there'll be nothing they can do to us."

"Hahaha, those fools really thought we wanted to sign some peace treaty. They even held a welcoming ceremony for us, never realizing it was all Lord Raikage's scheme."

"Once we unravel the secrets of the Byakugan, we'll obtain tremendous power and wipe out Konoha in one stroke."

The Chunin following behind the leader chimed in one after another.

Some could barely contain their excitement.

The thought that even Konoha's Hokage had been played for a fool filled them with uncontrollable delight.

Moreover, they had kept their nerves taut while carrying out the operation earlier.

Now that they had reached this deserted place, they could no longer restrain the urge to talk.

Even the Cloud Ninja Leader's lips curled upward.

Still, out of concern for safety, he warned his subordinates to keep their voices down.

The deserted surroundings they believed in were nothing but an illusion.

Kaze had already been observing them from the shadows for some time.

Kaze narrowed his eyes and smoothly drew several shuriken from his Ninja Tool Pouch with his right hand.

He locked onto the Cloud Ninja and struck without hesitation.

Whoosh!

The sharp shuriken spun at high speed through the air, racing through the night toward the Cloud Ninja's vital points.

In an instant, the lead Cloud Ninja Leader sensed a murderous intent and immediately drew his short sword.

"Everyone, watch out!"

As he warned his subordinates, he swung his short sword and knocked away every incoming shuriken.

The other three Chunin reacted swiftly as well.

They either dodged in time or pulled out kunai and short blades to block.

Only one Chunin, because he was closest to Kaze, did not have time to react. A shuriken struck the artery in his neck directly.

After slicing open his blood vessel, the shuriken continued flying onward.

Splat!

Blood spurted from the Chunin's neck like a fountain, shooting into the night sky without end.

In less than two or three breaths, the Chunin crashed to the ground. After twitching twice, he went completely still.

Seeing their companion killed, the remaining Cloud Ninja became even more vigilant.

They hurriedly threw kunai.

They attacked the assassin hidden in the shadows.

"Only one?"

Facing the Cloud Ninja's counterattack, Kaze said lightly, "I thought that ambush would take out two or three of them."

"Forget it."

The moment his words fell, Kaze charged directly out of the darkness.

The incoming kunai moved as slowly as a slideshow beneath his Sharingan.

He narrowed his eyes, swiftly extended his left hand, and grabbed the first kunai flying toward him.

The next second,

he gripped the kunai and delivered several clean, sharp swings, knocking away all the other kunai!

Just then, the bright moon that had been hidden behind the clouds finally emerged.

Moonlight spilled down.

It illuminated half of Kaze's face.

As well as his iconic Three-Tomoe Sharingan.

Such an entrance made the remaining three Chunin's hearts tighten.

One of them could not help glancing at his companion.

A single shuriken had taken down a Chunin.

"Those eyes..."

"You're from the Uchiha Clan."

The Cloud Ninja Leader noticed Kaze's pupils and immediately realized his identity.

But right afterward, he seemed to think of something.

He shifted his body slightly, using it to hide Hinata's face.

"Hmph."

Then the Cloud Ninja Leader let out a cold snort.

"Don't you know?"

"Kumogakure just signed a peace treaty with Konoha."

As he spoke, the Cloud Ninja Leader deliberately glanced at his companion's corpse.

His tone also carried a hint of accusation.

"You actually killed our companion on Konoha territory. If your Hokage finds out about this..."

"He definitely won't let you off."

"That's right." Another Chunin raised his voice in agreement. "I heard that after the Night of the Uchiha Clan Downfall, your Uchiha Clan was driven to the edge of the village."

"If you know what's good for you, get lost."

Worried about Konoha's pursuers, these Cloud Ninja did not want to waste too much time tangling with Kaze.

They shouted harshly, hoping to use the peace treaty and the Hokage's name to force Kaze back.

But why would Kaze care about what they said?

Looking at the Cloud Ninja before him,

Kaze smiled beneath the moonlight.

When he awakened these eyes ten years ago, he had secretly sworn an oath.

These eyes were his trump card for surviving in this world.

Unless absolutely necessary, he would never reveal them lightly.

And anyone who had seen them...

would die!
