Lu Li discovered that Aizen was nowhere nearby, so he opened the team channel and directly asked about his situation over voice chat.
"Sōsuke, where did you run off to?"
Lu Li asked. He had just spread out his senses and discovered that he was likely in a gourmet ecosystem somewhere in the Human World.
"Brother Lu, I don't seem to be on Earth."
Aizen's voice sounded in the team channel. "There was no error in the teleportation. The space likely assigned destinations based on individual traits."
"Oh? Could Sōsuke be on some gourmet planet in the universe?"
Lu Li asked curiously. He knew the space would not teleport people around randomly. Even if external forces had disrupted its timing, his previous separation from Aizen had not been an accident. After all, Aizen had landed beside Boros's planet, showing that the space had put thought into selecting locations.
What had truly been disrupted was only the timing of their arrivals. Lu Li might originally have descended at a later point in time.
"Not quite. I just conducted a few small tests and found that the physical laws of this universe differ slightly from those we know. I also observed the internal composition of several living creatures, and it doesn't seem to match what was described in the manga we read."
Aizen said, "I suspect I am not in the same universe as Brother Lu, but in another colored universe."
Lu Li found this quite interesting upon hearing that. He remembered the big shots in the group mentioning that in the worldview of Gourmet Hunter World, universes were divided by color: black, white, red, green, and blue. All five universes had been born during the Gourmet Big Bang.
This was information absent from the manga progress he and Aizen had seen.
