Jiang Ming is a transmigrator from Earth whose parents died before he was raised in Clear Water City by Nie Heng and his wife. He developed an early fascination with technical study and Soul Tools; his Rank 4 Soul Engineer master eventually admitted having nothing left to teach him. 1

At age twelve, he entered Shrek Academy as a Soul Elder. Although enrolled in the Martial Soul Department, he consistently pursued Soul Tool research, sought instruction from the Soul Tool Department, and demonstrated unusual physical and combat ability. 3 461
