Huo Yuhao’s team reaches the Freshman Assessment final and clashes with Dai Huabin’s team, leaving Jiang Ming racing to intervene between their fusion attacks.

• Di Tian seized Zhang Lexuan and challenged Mu En, while Jiang Ming resisted Di Tian’s Darkness Power until Mu En returned to protect him.
• Jiang Ming recovered at Sea God Pavilion, where Little Dark completed its evolution and Little Yellow then gained a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring.
• Jiang Ming broke through to Level Seventy-One and led the freshmen’s military training, testing their limits and selecting students for Hell Week.
• Jiang Ming put the Hell Week participants through nighttime games and grueling exercises, then led the instructors in a final pursuit that the freshmen survived to earn their badges.
• Jiang Ming revealed his Martial Souls and Soul Rings to Huo Yuhao and the other freshmen, while Zhang Lexuan privately spoke with Ma Xiaotao and Ling Luochen.

After fighting Ice Empress and recovering in Radiant City, he studied at Bright Virtue Hall while Huo Yuhao began the process that would make Ice Empress his Wisdom Soul Ring.

• Jiang Ming’s team won the Freshman Assessment, and he received the Sky-Piercing Spear after the Soul Tool Department completed it.
• Jiang Ming tested the spear’s Cloud-Piercing strike, then spent three months making Rank 7 Soul Tools before visiting Clear Water City with Zhang Lexuan.
• The Spirits used their powers to create Our World, and Jiang Ming filled its glacier with creatures from the Far North.
• Jiang Ming fought Ice Empress and pierced her brow, but he escaped the Far North badly injured as Ice Empress ordered the Soul Beasts to drive humans away.
• Jiang Ming rescued Xiao Hongchen, Meng Hongchen, and Teacher Ma during the Beast Tide, then traveled with them to Radiant City and entered Bright Virtue Hall.
• Huo Yuhao reached the Far North’s Core Area, where Sky Dream Ice Silkworm summoned Ice Empress and persuaded her to join his God Creation Plan.
• Ice Empress asked Huo Yuhao to help settle her score with Jiang Ming, then Sky Dream Ice Silkworm began merging her Spiritual Origin with Huo Yuhao.

Jiang Ming maneuvered between Shrek Academy and the Sun Moon Royal Soul Master Academy while Shrek’s strength stunned the tournament. The arc ended with Jiang Ming defeating Zheng Tian Academy’s fighters and preparing to face Ye Wuqing.

• Jing Hongchen found no record of Ming Jiang, while Mu En decided Huo Yuhao should cultivate both Martial Soul and Soul Tool paths and might join the Extreme Soldier Plan.
• Jiang Ming joined the Sun Moon Royal Soul Master Academy team as vice-captain and proved he was a Rank Seven Soul Engineer.
• Jiang Ming captured Nether Thunder Douluo in Our World, defeated him, and altered his memories before reaching Shrek’s team in Star Luo City.
