History

Rule of the White Tiger Great Emperor

Under Dai Yutian, the empire retained a powerful centralized structure and a succession system tied to the Dai and Zhu families. Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhu Yun were expected to become future emperor and empress, respectively, due to their cultivation talent and Martial Soul Fusion Skill 80.

Zhu Zhuqing returned to Star Luo seeking aid to locate powerful Soul Beasts, but her presence exposed the ruling family’s inability to control her. She suppressed Duke Nether with her aura and later confronted the imperial court directly 65 124.

Zhu Zhuqing’s coup and reign

Zhu Zhuqing challenged Dai Yutian for the throne. Dai Yutian and Empress Zhu Wuyan used the Nether White Tiger against her, but Zhu Zhuqing defeated them, killed Dai Yutian, and declared herself Empress. The ministers submitted, recognizing both her overwhelming strength and her Zhu Family connection to the imperial line 126.

Her coronation required high-ranking officials, nobles, city lords, and sect representatives to attend within three days. The Shadow Soldier Legion eliminated those who attempted looting or remained loyal to Dai Yutian 126 128.

Zhu Zhuqing ordered the empire to maintain its existing order and prohibited nobles from oppressing commoners. She delegated routine governance to the Level 95 Black Shadow Commander while she focused on cultivation 128.

Continental unification

After Zhu Zhuqing attained godhood, the Martial Soul Empire fell and the Star Luo Empire became the dominant continental power 211. The Heaven Dou Empire eventually surrendered, ending its existence after a year and a half; Star Luo then conquered the entire continent within a year 211.

The Shadow Soldier Legion expanded alongside the empire’s territory. Its Black Shadow Soldiers enforced moral standards across the continent, contributing to a period of recovery and prosperity after unification 211.

Zhu Zhuqing nevertheless intended for imperial rule to end with her, considering herself both the first emperor to unify the continent and the last 212.

Xu Family era and the Star Luo Saintess

In a later era, the Xu Family governs the empire. When Zhu Lu—Zhu Zhuqing’s reincarnated identity—awakens a God Test Mark associated with the First Rank God of Extreme Speed, Star Luo chooses to support her cultivation rather than surrender her to Shrek Academy 435 436.

Zhu Lu negotiates for satisfactory Soul Rings and the right to approve all decisions concerning herself in exchange for protecting the empire. Xu Jiawei accepts these conditions and grants her the practical status of Star Luo Saintess, including an imperial token and residence at Clear Spring Hall 436 438.

The empire invests heavily in retaining the Saintess, pooling the resources of major clans to build a superior cultivation environment and seeking to bind her through support rather than coercion 440 441. Xu Tianyang later repels Shrek’s Xuan Zi when he attempts to forcibly remove her from Star Luo 442 443 444.
