Sky Beasts!

If Changbai's battle with Viper had been a duel between point-scoring vanguards, then the teams of Anshan versus Skyhawk and Huangshan versus Raptor demonstrated the ultimate contest of precision.

Though Anshan alone could not stop Skyhawk from soaring through the skies, Angie Beckett clearly had no intention of remaining in the water with the enemy.

The boundless upper sky—that was the true battlefield belonging to both sides.

Skyhawk dominated the heavens with the beating of its massive wings, but Anshan's method of taking command of the skies was even more imposing.

"Hell Diver!" Angie said solemnly. "Activate!"

Boom—

After a brief wait, sixteen azure flames burst from the nozzles across Anshan's body. The tremendous thrust sent ripples spreading over the sea—

This nearly four-thousand-ton mech actually rose into the air at the center of the storm!

Everyone around the world who witnessed this scene cried out in shock. Good heavens, that was a four-thousand-ton body of steel!

At that moment, Anshan looked down upon the earth like a god.

The people in the Command Center were likewise amazed. Though most of them were not engineers, they fully understood what an astonishing and invaluable feat it was to create a giant robot capable of conquering the skies.

Seeing its air superiority threatened, Skyhawk let out an angry roar. It lowered its body and immediately dove toward Anshan!

Anshan remained calm. Eight of his nozzles were still on standby, capable of helping him perform all sorts of movements beyond human imagination within a second—such as this one.

Anshan raised his right hand and pressed downward through the air. A dark crimson flame immediately erupted from his palm!

That was merely the opening act. Anshan's left hand then fired thrust in three directions in rapid succession—his body suddenly shot upward, barely evading Skyhawk's pounce!

At the same time, Angie hooked her right wrist blade backward, carving another fresh wound into Skyhawk's already battered body.

Skyhawk immediately wheeled around, eager to counterattack, but Angie Beckett clearly would not let it gain any advantage. In a blur of speed, the two exchanged blows more than ten times. The people on the ground could barely follow them. Several silver flashes streaked past, and bloody bursts erupted across Skyhawk's body as great quantities of dark-blue blood splashed over the sea like scattered water.

Skyhawk was on the verge of collapse, but Anshan was not doing well either.

Humans were not born to fly, after all, and Hell Diver had limited endurance. Before landing, Anshan had to secure victory as quickly as possible. Otherwise, with a silicon-based lifeform's formidable regenerative ability, Skyhawk would inflict considerable casualties on other cities or units again.

Perhaps influenced by the destruction of Viper Two, Skyhawk's fighting spirit was no longer as high as before. It flapped its wings, attempting to bypass Anshan and head toward Hong Kong.

But Anshan would never give it that chance. Hell Diver began to exert its power—

The two giant beasts swept through the clouds one after the other, racing toward the distant horizon.

Anshan and Skyhawk put on a display of grace and speed, while the collision between Huangshan and Raptor erupted with nothing but power and passion.

Raptor was like an ancient behemoth from the primordial age, its genes engraved with bloodlust and slaughter. Huangshan, meanwhile, was the undefeated warrior of an ancient Roman arena, unstoppable and invincible.

The two giants used no fancy moves. Raptor's gaping maw viciously locked against Huangshan's arms. Whoever retreated first would be crushed to pieces beneath the other's overwhelming assault.

"Haaahhhhh!!!!"

Inside Huangshan's cockpit, Zhang Wenhu's face was crimson and the veins on his forehead bulged. With both hands raised, he pushed forward with all his strength!

Raptor's enormous face filled Huangshan's holographic HUD—that face had only half of it left. The other half was torn open and covered in scorch marks. Those were the marks left by the pilot warriors who had defended humanity with everything they had.

They're swaying right before my eyes. I can see them clearly. Zhang Wenhu thought. Now, Dongting is dead, and FL is on the verge of destruction. I can't let the Tang Brothers' efforts go to waste!

But at that moment, the force coming from Raptor suddenly grew stronger, while Huangshan's load had already reached its limit. Thick smoke began pouring from short circuits within the cockpit, and the piercing alarm continued without pause.

The immense force gradually drove Huangshan's feet into the seabed.

This can't go on! Zhang Wenhu was drenched in sweat. If Huangshan's movement was hindered, Raptor could easily crush him to pieces. By then, not only would he die, but even Changbai, the only one left in the field, would be in mortal danger!

"Let's do it!" Zhang Wenhu's heart sank as he prepared to gamble everything!

Amid the roaring noise, the engines in Huangshan's legs surged to full power. Using Raptor's momentum, those powerful mechanical legs directly lifted the twenty-thousand-ton behemoth above him!

Raptor's forward momentum did not lessen, while its abdomen was thrust high into the air by Huangshan—so it simply flipped over, back facing down, and crashed onto its back!

Its massive displacement slammed into the Pacific Ocean with such force that it even created a small tsunami.

Raptor was left dazed by the fall. Huangshan immediately stood, straddled Raptor's abdomen, and used the powerful locking mechanism of the Electric Grip in his right hand to seize Raptor tightly. Then he opened the I-19 Ion Cannon in his left hand and aimed it at Raptor's vulnerable lower jaw!

Woooo...

A powerful ion stream rapidly gathered within Huangshan's left hand!

Three seconds later, a dazzling white light howled from the front of Huangshan's left hand!

"It pierced through!!" Rosen shouted. "It definitely pierced through! Effective strike!!"

The tremendous energy blasted Raptor's lower jaw to pieces. Temperatures exceeding ten thousand degrees even completely vaporized its brain!

However, the ion bombardment at such close range also forced Huangshan to pay a grievous price—

All the navigation lights on Huangshan's body shattered under the impact. The powerful pulse even affected the circuitry beneath its armor. Huangshan then lost power and shut down completely.

Not long afterward, a burst of steam sprayed from the pressure valve atop Huangshan's head. On the screen, Zhang Wenhu, dressed in an ochre Pilot Suit, crawled out of the cockpit.

He tossed the Mind Cap aside and stared resolutely toward the final pair of opponents on the battlefield—

Now, the score was tied at two to two!

The monsters had lost another member!
