Nimrod spent two days walking through every underground and aboveground ruin in the Brown Mountains.
He was disappointed to discover that the ancient civilization before the Harvest Giant civilization had no association with Be'lakor.
Finding one connected to Be'lakor among so many fallen civilizations really isn't that easy after all.
Then Nimrod thought of the Abyss of Zaku-Trada the Aeldari had warned him about. There should be fragments of Be'lakor's sacred relic inside, and once he had more information, he could use the Dice of Prophecy for divination. He no longer felt so disappointed.
Although Be'lakor is powerful, and may even have a chance of ascending to godhood.
In the end, he hasn't ascended. And without recovering the sacred relic fragments, he's lost a great deal of his power. Divining him will inevitably be less difficult than divining a uniqueness.
As Nimrod pondered, a thought stirred, and he arrived in the Seventh Layer Space of the "Kingdom of Disorder," gazing at the oak with dense red and white branches and leaves.
Lines of rules wrapped around the colossal tree, leaving it unable to move, like living branches bound in place.
From William Wood's report, Nimrod knew that this colossal tree could actually grant Harvest Giants abilities similar to psychic powers.
Every Harvest Giant's coming-of-age rite involved traveling to the Gray Mountains.
The outstanding among them would receive a bestowal of strength, becoming more robust than their kin and serving as temple guards.
A small number of lucky ones became Kin of the Tree chosen by the Tree God, gaining the ability to move freely through soil and control oak leaves.
They would serve as the leaders of a settlement, and their orders represented the Tree God.
