Background / History

The earliest supplied account attributes the descent of the Four Ruinous Powers to the Emperor's betrayal. His later actions center on recovering the scattered Primarchs and directing the Imperium's expansion. 2

In 811.M30, he recovered Nimrod, the Eleventh Primarch, on Vostonia. Nimrod recognized him as the genetic father of the Primarchs but regarded his paternal warmth with suspicion, sensing rationality and coldness behind the persona the Emperor presented. 74 77
