Ancient History and the Primarch Project

Ollanius once served as the Emperor's first Warmaster, commanding his armies and fighting alongside him repeatedly. A later vision witnessed by Nimrod shows Ollanius stabbing the Emperor in the back and destroying a tower associated with Enuncia, insisting that some powers could not be controlled. 903 934

The Emperor created the Primarchs as war machines, combining genetic science and psychic power to implant knowledge within them. The Emperor brought Nimrod into the Imperium, granted him a Relic-class warship, arranged for Horus to mentor him, and later entrusted the Second and Fifteenth Legions to his command. 80 81 98 He also designated Nimrod as Pegasus, presenting him with the Pegasus Ring and framing him as a conqueror who would bring humanity victory across the galaxy. 261
