The Greater Daemon of the Abyssal Void
Santiago Bergkamp gazed at the daemon that had appeared atop the giant tower of white bone. It had a pair of curved bull horns, and behind its head grew a shorter pair of goat horns.
A pair of bat wings spread open behind it, shrouding the entire spire.
In its right hand, it gripped a massive double-bladed axe, while its left arm had fused with a living whip.
As if it breathed, clouds of dreams, nightmares, and illusions were drawn into its body, then exhaled as rolling mist and lesser daemons of every shape and form.
Some daemons stood upon manta rays, swimming between bolts of lightning.
Other goat-headed daemons landed on the shattered lava ground, holding staffs and letting out shrill, birdlike roars.
With one beat of its bat wings, the daemon leaped from the tower's tip, revealing the majestic body that the white-bone tower had hidden before.
Its torso was like a scorpion's, and as its hooked tail lashed, it sliced open cloud after cloud.
The daemon stared at Santiago, blue-violet light flickering rapidly in its eyes.
In Santiago's eyes, clusters of illusions suddenly rose:
Meteors tore across the sky, glittering with dazzling starlight.
Enormous Psyker Crystals appeared all around.
Every one of them was larger than any the first psyker artisan of the Shadow of Order had ever seen, and the light they shone was more brilliant.
Compared with them, the natural Psyker Crystals of the Crystal Illusion Realm were like stones beside gleaming jewels.
Falling Meteorite Stones, shining Psyker Crystals...
All of them were top-tier materials. Psyker items made from them would be rare treasures beyond compare.
Santiago's gaze did not linger on them for even an instant. In a flash, he ascended into Thelema's third-layer Mindset.
