Nimrod picked up the cooled Dice of Prophecy, and information flashed rapidly through his mind—data that the "Scholar," Arsena Dunn, had led the "Knowledge Keepers" in obtaining from the Hrud Mycelium Scroll.

The Hrud of five worlds had migrated from the southern galaxy to the Abyss of Zaku-Trada. They had recorded shadows that blotted out the sky, and countless Daemons that had appeared out of nowhere.

Traces of Be'lakor.

There might be a Relic Fragment of his in the southern galaxy.

Nimrod's left hand gripped the enormous Shadow Blade. The blade was hazy, shifting constantly between illusion and reality.

The Shadow Blade was a divination medium and contained even greater power. As the object most closely connected to Be'lakor, it was a more suitable medium for divination than all Relic Fragments such as the Eye of Shadow.

After the information he knew flashed rapidly through Nimrod's mind, he silently recited in his heart:

The star map from Carium Gate to the world where Be'lakor's fragment is located.

After reciting it eleven times, he tossed the triangular cone in his hand into the air.

The triangular cone rose more and more slowly, as if strands of shadow were tugging at it.

The triangular cone slowly climbed to its highest point and projected an image.

As Nimrod committed the star map to memory, he felt it was somewhat familiar.

His eyes suddenly flashed. A small portion of the star map overlapped with what he had seen earlier at the War Council.

"What a coincidence."

The endpoint indicated by the star map was Hof Albion.

One of the star systems controlled by the forge world Varia Superior.

Nimrod stared at the dim crystal and said helplessly, "The cooldown time is going to get even longer
