Nimrod leaned back against The Throne. After listening to Luther's report, he gave his order.
"Very good. You have gained new power. Set out at once and return to Caliban. Bring Merian and Nereus to heel."
Nimrod was satisfied with their current progress. With Luther, Per Koschelny, and the other nineteen Shadows of Order promoted to Mentors of Chaos, he had already taken control of the Ark Fringe Cluster beyond Heliosa.
Luther froze for a moment. He had thought he might have a chance to take part in the great battle for Heliosa, but since the Black Emperor had given his command, he could only obey.
"I follow Your will."
Seeing that Luther was somewhat unwilling, Nimrod comforted him. "Wait patiently. You will have your chance in the end."
After the Great Birthday Celebration, the two major targets he planned to attack were the Calixis Sector in Segmentum Obscurus and the edge of Segmentum Tempestus—the sector that would originally have been named the Orpheus Sector, but was now named after its discoverer, Rosicky.
"Seraphax lurks in the shadows. I imagine you would not want anything to happen to your home."
He had always suspected that Tzeentch had a hand behind the sundering of Caliban and Seraphax's plan ten thousand years later.
The Daemons that appeared when Caliban shattered had clear, changeable traits of Tzeentch's faction.
Ten thousand years later, the Lion's body had already aged, but he was still a Primarch. For him to be bound by ritual chains was somewhat strange.
Even though Nimrod had already used Luther to control more than half of Caliban, obtaining the Ouroboros would not be easy.
"My lord, I understand," Luther said respectfully.
"My lord," Bukayo then said, "the Mastodon
