Eywa's Erosion

Eywa.

This is the respectful title the Na'vi use for their "deity," the collective biological consciousness of the planet Pandora, or perhaps its "spokesperson," as "it" can connect to the neural units of all living things.

It would be inaccurate to say all, but over 99% of the organisms on Pandora possess a "connection interface," such as the tips of the braids found on the Na'vi and their Avatars.

When the protagonist was led by the Na'vi heroine to tame a Banshee—the giant flying mounts—he successfully connected with the creature through the tip of his braid, thereby completing the taming process.

Even when a creature is on the verge of death, it can still upload its consciousness to Eywa, the "server" that aggregates all life, through a tree-like plant known as the Tree of Souls, which is actually a type of terminal device.

This indicates that Eywa is constantly receiving an unimaginably vast amount of information and data, and supported by such data, consciousness naturally emerged.

Before crossing over, Sui Yang found it terrifying to think about once he realized that Eywa possessed self-awareness and the ability to judge matters.

Based on the plot, Eywa can also exert a subtle influence on all biological units that have connected with "it," specifically—

Protecting Pandora and protecting Eywa.

In the deleted scenes of the first film, there were scientists inciting riots at the RDA base, and all humans who had piloted Avatars participated, which is why there were those extra Avatars wielding firearms at the end of the movie.

The protagonist, most heavily influenced by Eywa, even used the Tree of Souls to permanently transfer his consciousness into his Avatar, abandoning his human body and his human identity.

Setting aside the plot-induced deaths, the RDA's military contracting team was arrogant and underestimated their enemy, believing Eywa was complete nonsense and dismissing any talk of gods or spirits. Coupled with the fact that the traitorous protagonist knew the weaknesses of all their weapons and equipment, and the fact that they were besieged by the planet's entire ecosystem, they suffered a crushing defeat.

In the second film, Eywa actually used the Avatar body of the deceased female scientist to give birth to a special hybrid named Kiri, who possesses the ability to communicate directly with Pandora's flora and fauna.

As for the endings of the first and second films, both concluded with the failure of the RDA, but this does not represent the failure of humanity.

Because the regular military never appeared from start to finish; the Na'vi were only fighting a corporate security team and the armed forces of a whaling ship.

What Sui Yang found truly terrifying was that media reports suggested the human military would officially appear in the third installment, and by the fourth and fifth, the forces of Pandora would actually reach Earth.

Furthermore, in order to improve an environment on the verge of collapse, Eywa "sowed" itself on Earth...

This is clearly a race war between humanity and Pandora.

Before crossing over, Sui Yang's impression of the Avatar series was not particularly good. Despite the epoch-making visuals, well-developed settings, and the high aesthetic appeal of the human weaponry, he always felt something was very off.

Especially when the protagonist was slaughtering his own kind, Sui Yang did not consider this a "righteous" act.

Yet, after spending three months with the Na'vi, the protagonist voluntarily renounced his human status and was able to slaughter his own kind without a shred of guilt, which further proves the profound influence Eywa has on intelligent beings.

Thinking this far, Sui Yang raised his hands and touched the holographic screen to operate it, officially naming the world on the other side of the space gate "Universe 02," marking the planet scouted by the advance team as "Pandora," and issuing the latest orders to the command center:

"Mobilize more engineering teams to assist in building a forward base near the space gate. Then notify the 2nd, 4th, and 5th companies of the ARS, informing them that after leaving behind necessary garrison personnel, the entire companies are to relocate to the Kenya Base immediately.

Since Alexia had the ability to refine and cultivate the Progenitor and Veronica viruses similar to those in Resident Evil through God's Flower, the development of the BOW project also needed to be put on the daily agenda.
