Background

Sui Yang was transported from his original world to the American West around 1870 after a traffic accident. Stranded in a desert, he survived through military training and spent years attempting to adapt and return home. His discovery of Arthur Morgan, whose identity resembled a fictional figure from Sui Yang’s former life, convinced him that his new world was connected to realities he had once considered fiction. 1

He adopted Arthur and later several other orphans, training them as family, assistants, and protectors. While working as a bounty hunter, Sui Yang also robbed criminals and aided the poor. After acquiring capital, he built a plantation outside Seattle, expanded into mining and resource extraction, and organized a security force centered on Arthur. 1

Recurring headaches accompanied by the command “stay… start a business” ultimately pushed Sui Yang to abandon his hope of returning home. During World War I, he secured authorization to sell weapons, medicine, and supplies to Europe; in 1914, he formally established Atlas Corporation. 1

Sui Yang is a black-haired Chinese man whose ageless appearance and expanding physique increasingly separate him from ordinary humans. His body grows alongside his power and Atlas’s influence; he can later use Psychic Power to alter his height when necessary. 1 229 353
