Just as Tiandao stepped out from among the remaining students, the anime's camera swept past his side, allowing the Dimensional Audience to catch glimpses of the beach.

Yet those fleeting fragments of footage left quite a few Dimensional Audience members on Station 13 utterly shaken.

Beneath a black reef at the edge of the beach, Mi Yao of Stellaris NO.13 lay slumped against the rock. The loose hair over his forehead was soaked in blood and plastered to his pale cheeks. Bloody froth kept bubbling from the corner of his mouth, while his eyes were hollow and devoid of light.

The cause of it all was three dark-purple vines as thick as bowls that had pierced straight through his chest.

The vines' viscous dark-green sap mixed with Mi Yao's own blood, flowing from the gaping wound in his chest and dripping onto the bluish-gray sand.

What was going on? Hadn't Mi Yao only appeared not long ago?

And he was already killed off?

Watching Mi Yao exit so abruptly and simply, many Dimensional Audience members were thoroughly taken aback.

If Mi Yao had merely been some dispensable passerby, why had the Stellaris Production Team gone to such lengths to give him screen time earlier?

Could there be some hidden truth to this? Was this guy not actually dead?
