Led by Marcus Neo'zu, the Great Prophet and leader of the Twilight Church, tens of millions of advance troops from the Kalimdor Continent boarded countless warships and floating cities, charging through the inner passage of the Sea of Hope and brazenly invading the Saint Nor Continent.

By now, after several months, the passage through the Sea of Hope that could block lightning had expanded to ten thousand meters wide, covering more than half of Thunder Island. The lightning that had once been capable of destroying the world, which even Legendary powerhouses could not withstand for long, had not vanished, but under those wisps of terrifying black aura, it had been forced to the edges of the island.

At the passage's exit, a massive wall more than a hundred meters high and nearly forty to fifty meters thick had risen at some unknown time, sealing off the Sea of Hope passage as completely as an impenetrable curtain.

Above the wall floated three enormous cities: Sky City from the Sacred Co-Prosperity Kingdom, the Starry Sky from the Arcane Empire, and Emerald City from the Elf Empire.

Across the three top-tier floating cities stood hundreds of thousands of figures in Mage Robes, gripping staffs with vigilant expressions.

Although the various powers had decided to abandon the Sea of Ten Thousand Islands during the first prewar conference, that did not mean they would stand by and watch the Twilight Church enter the Saint Nor Continent so easily.
