For his first transmigration, Chen Xi meticulously selected the pieces he would be deploying.

First and foremost were the pieces he would use to descend and possess. Due to permission restrictions, Chen Xi couldn't use his favorite Astartes and Adeptus Custodes, nor could he deploy his second favorite, the Necrons.

This undoubtedly narrowed his range of choices considerably.

After all, though he had 20,000 points worth of miniatures, 10,000 points were Space Marines from different chapters, 5,000 points were Necrons, and the remaining 5,000 points were Astra Militarum, Sisters of Battle, Adeptus Custodes, Imperial Knights, Inquisition, and Adeptus Mechanicus.

Chen Xi was a painting enthusiast when he first got into the hobby, so he was keen on buying different miniatures.

Back then, he couldn't find anyone to play against, so he mostly entertained himself, focusing his energy on collecting various models and painting them.

It was because of this that he still had Sisters of Battle, Inquisition, and Astra Militarum miniatures to choose from.

Otherwise, if he had only Astartes, he would have had to find someone to borrow some miniatures from or buy new ones himself.

Due to the limitations of permissions and points, Chen Xi's first deployment couldn't involve too many miniatures.

After careful consideration, he chose the legendary Inquisitor Eisenhorn of the Inquisition as the miniature to possess, and equipped him with a squad of Kasrkin Shock Troopers and a squad of Sisters of Battle from the Order of the Sisters of Battle.

(Eisenhorn)

(Kasrkin Shock Troopers)

(Sisters of Battle Squad)

It should be noted that while Chen Xi could choose to deploy miniatures of certain famous figures, the miniatures would not become those individuals themselves, but rather similar counterparts with the same attributes.

For example, the Eisenhorn miniature that Chen Xi deployed would become an Inquisitor of The Inquisition after deployment. While he would possess the same attributes as Eisenhorn, such as psychic talent and experience and abilities as an Inquisitor, he would have no other special characteristics.

The same applied to other famous figures.

However, this didn't matter to Chen Xi. As long as the miniatures could function, he didn't care about having those old geezer's gold coins working for him.

Counterfeit money is still money as long as you can spend it!

Having selected the miniatures, Chen Xi placed them on a floating platform inside the box, as instructed by the Servo-skull.

Immediately, the miniatures were enveloped in a golden light. Chen Xi knew this meant they were ready to be deployed into that world.

To attach his consciousness to a miniature, he only needed to touch one of them.

Chen Xi naturally didn't hesitate and placed his finger on Eisenhorn.

With a dizzying sensation, he felt his perspective suddenly change, as if he had become the miniature.

Then, a layer of golden sand rose from the bottom of the box, constructing a room-like space within the box. The miniatures were also enveloped in the golden sand and transported into the room.

"So this is what it's like to cross over? Doesn't feel like much..." Chen Xi moved his body, feeling the various knowledge being poured into his mind. Although there was some discomfort, he didn't really feel like he had transmigrated.

Aside from the fact that he was now wearing an Inquisitor's uniform, had a Bolter on his waist, and a psychic staff in his hand, there didn't seem to be much of a change.

Of course, this may or may not exclude the squad of Kasrkin and the squad of Sisters of Battle standing beside him.

They were currently looking at Chen Xi quietly, as if waiting for his further instructions.

"They are no different from normal humans. You can issue commands to them at will," the Servo-skull floating beside Chen Xi explained.

"I understand. Where am I now?" Chen Xi had already gotten into character, straightened his clothes, and asked the Servo-skull and the people around him about the situation.

"You are currently on a Sword-class Frigate of the Imperial Navy. You arrived on the target planet aboard this ship, and the ship is about to land," the Servo-skull explained, then projected information about the planet they were about to arrive on to Chen Xi: "The planet you are about to arrive on is called Rostov II, the only Imperial colony world in a sub-sector of the Mariupol Sector, and also the sub-sector's capital.

However, the Mariupol Sector is a newly developed sector of the Imperium, so the Imperial colony on Rostov II was established less than 70 years ago, so various facilities and construction are almost at the initial stage.

The current population of the planet is 1.2 billion, and the main population consists of Adeptus Ministorum immigrants and criminals transferred from penal worlds.

The main political forces on the planet are retired Astra Militarum and the Adeptus Ministorum. The planet itself was allocated to an Astra Militarum Regiment that collectively retired.

The Adeptus Ministorum's influence began after the Adeptus Ministorum immigrants arrived on the planet and began preaching."

"Sounds good, an uncultivated planet, a new Imperial colony world. The Emperor is indeed generous with his grace." Chen Xi had adjusted his state, making himself look more like an Inquisitor, and even changed his wording.

"Character import complete, novice mission activated" "Novice Mission 1: Assume the Governorship" "Mission Content: Complete the Governor's inauguration ceremony and become the planet's Planetary Governor"

"Become the Planetary Governor? Seems like it won't be smooth sailing." Chen Xi narrowed his eyes, but then looked at his two squads of attendants and gave them orders: "Check your equipment and prepare for battle! We may encounter various situations."

The Kasrkin and Sisters of Battle immediately checked their weapons according to Chen Xi's orders, and then prepared for battle.

Although this may be unnecessary, the Warhammer world... a world where transmigrators come and cry like little bitches, anything is possible.

In particular, the Imperium's attitude towards Planetary Governors who coup is always to let them do as they please as long as they can guarantee the payment of Tithes and there is no obvious corruption or behavior betraying the Imperium.

If someone doesn't like the new Governor and thinks, "I can take his place," then it would be very troublesome.

Don't think it's impossible. For a Governor, the first thing to do is to quell rebellions, which is really a must-have experience for Planetary Governors.

"Too bad I can't use Astartes. Otherwise, with a squad of Terminators in hand, would I be afraid of quelling a rebellion on a planet?" Chen Xi sighed, but then cheered up and pushed the door open and walked out.

Behind him, the Sisters of Battle and Kasrkin Shock Troopers followed.
