This prompted another jab from Ovilia. "I say, you ought to install an anti-gravity core in yourself. Otherwise, sooner or later, your weight will crush a chair the moment you sit down, and they'll have to make chairs for you out of Tau Steel and Adamantium.

Oh, no, that's not right. With so many implants in you now, your butt probably doesn't even exist anymore, does it?"

Seeing Ovilia being so aggressive, Chen Xi spoke before Donya could. "Ovilia, could you perhaps be a little less hostile for now? I'd like to have a proper talk with Sage Donya."

At Chen Xi's words, Ovilia gave a huff, but she still turned her head away and said nothing more.

"I don't really mind. We've known each other since childhood, and we're used to bickering like this," Donya said, taking the initiative to speak up for Ovilia. "The relationship between us is more complicated than others might imagine. We may argue and squabble, but that doesn't mean we aren't close."

"Who said I'm close with you?!" Ovilia hurriedly retorted, though she did not deny her relationship with Donya.

Seeing this, Chen Xi said nothing further and merely shrugged helplessly.

Chen Xi had no intention of interfering with the relationship between Ovilia and Donya. How they chose to get along was their own business.

Compared to that, the priority Chen Xi needed to focus on was how to advance cooperation between Rostov II and Mariupol Forge World.

Though Chen Xi had been considering hiring new Tech-Priests from Griffin IV, that was only if he failed to reach an agreement with Mariupol
