Background / History

A purple invitation entered Bai Yu's Primordial World, where he captured it before accepting membership under the name Immortal. The invitation had originally been intended for an ordinary Small Thousand World; Bai Yu's unexpected entry from a Great Thousand World made him an anomaly to the Chat Group. 5 263 435

In its early state, the Chat Group was an extremely rudimentary exchange platform. It allowed cross-world conversation and Red Envelope transfers, but had neither a mall currency nor functions that directly improved a member's cultivation. 6 23 522

Its first major upgrade occurred when Li Hanyi and Mei Changsu joined, unlocking archival, broadcast, announcement, and mall functions. Bai Yu subsequently negotiated directly with the Chat Group rather than Shi Yaoyao, supplying Saint Spirit Stones and gaining administrator authority. 23 26

Bai Yu later pressured the Chat Group into confronting Myriad Worlds Trading City. The Chat Group does not display ordinary human consciousness.
