He had Minato’s intelligence on Hotaru’s hideout on Mount Katsuragi and intended to use it to locate Utakata, while the Land of Radiance’s growth served his aim of keeping the Five Great Nations from war.

As the attack dwindled, Satori and Hiruko escaped through the village barrier after Minato sensed Obito far away in the Land of Lightning.
