Three mornings later, outside Nami's home in Cocoyasi Village.

Garen knocked gently on the door and called inside:

"Nami, it's time to go!"

The door abruptly swung open, and a bleary-eyed Nami stood before Garen in loose pajamas.

"Go? Where?"

Nami tugged slightly at her overly open collar, but the movement pulled at the fresh wound left from altering her tattoo.

The burning pain instantly jolted Nami awake from her half-asleep state.

On the first day after the Arlong Pirates were destroyed, Nami had gone to the village tattoo artist and replaced the Arlong Tattoo on her arm with a windmill and tangerine design she liked.

"We're heading out to sea for adventure!"

Garen said seriously:

"Wallace has nearly finished preparing. Hurry up and pack your things too!"

As he spoke, Garen casually walked into Nami's home and found himself a comfortable spot on the living room sofa.

"I'll wait here."

Nojiko was preparing breakfast at home. When she saw Garen, she smiled and greeted him as well.

After three days together, Garen had already become quite familiar with Nami's family and fellow villagers.

"Hmph!"

Seeing how at home Garen acted, Nami raised her brow, suddenly feeling an indescribable flicker of irritation.

"I don't think I'm officially part of your crew yet!"

Garen froze slightly, surprise showing on his face.

Nami abruptly changed the subject and asked Garen a question that sounded rather vague.
