I'm an Idiot

Anton saw nothing but dense magical light. Wood chips, Mu Jins, gears, wrenches, and everything else hurtling around him all came to a stop. Even the swaying house fell still.

For one brief moment, the entire world became utterly silent.

Then—

Boom!

A massive explosion rang out. The entire space seemed like a violently shaken bottle of cola whose cap had just been popped, everything inside bursting outward under pressure.

The Island Hut's Undetectable Extension Charm had split apart.

The contents of a space measuring over a thousand square meters exploded out of that tiny wooden hut of barely twenty square meters.

Everyone was blasted away.

"Accio broom!" Anton did not know the Accio Charm, but he had mastered a Divine Skill: Wizard is God. As long as the caster's will was firm enough—so firm it exceeded all normal limits—some spells were not so strict about tone, incantation, or technique.

The Flying Broomstick weaved through countless pieces of wreckage and gusts of air before swiftly arriving in front of him. Carrying Anton and Anna in his arms, it shot into the sky.

At that moment, Snape was still casting spells wildly. An utterly terrifying spell tore across the heavens, crushing everything in its path before striking Pedro the Goblin in the chest.

Pedro sprayed out a huge rainbow of blood. The Purple Goblin Puppet behind him vanished, as did his shield.

He fell toward the sea like a rag doll.

The Flying Broomstick dove down, executed a precise tail swing, and jammed its tail into Pedro's suit vest, leaving him dangling in midair.

With the suitcase Anna held in her arms added to the load, the Flying Broomstick was so overburdened that it skimmed the sea surface, unable to rise again.

Almost at that same moment, the Werewolf lunged out of the wreckage, its enormous claw slamming viciously into Snape's face.

Smack!

Snape spun horizontally through three hundred and sixty degrees and flew past Anton.

Splash.

A towering wave splashed up.

Drenching all three of them.

"Roar!" The Werewolf dropped to all fours and roared at Anton and his group on the sea. He grabbed a mechanical fragment from the ground and hurled it at them.

"Damn!"

Anton swung the tail again, tossing the Goblin from the broom's tail onto a large plank floating on the water before shooting skyward.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.

Mu Jins, thick wooden pillars, cauldrons, and other objects came at them one after another like cannon shells.

Anton nimbly guided the Flying Broomstick through them. He had to thank the Old Wizard's earlier pursuit for letting him master how to use a broom so quickly.

Just then, a figure burst from the sea.

Snape!

That guy was flying straight into the wind without any tool whatsoever!

The Flying Charm!

Anton had watched a short video introducing this spell. In the entire Harry Potter story, only two people could fly through the air without relying on anything—Snape and Voldemort.

It was said that Voldemort had invented this advanced Dark Magic Spell.

Awesome. Anton's eyes gleamed as he stared at Snape. He loved this spell too much.

Snape scanned his surroundings indifferently, killing intent spilling from him, and immediately saw Anton.

Damn!

Anton shuddered at the look in his eyes as Snape raised the arm holding his wand.

"Idol!"

Anton called out warmly, his voice thick with tears. "I almost died! Boohoohoo, it's so great to see you again. You're not dead! Hahaha, you're not dead! You really are worthy of being my idol!"

The Young Wizard was clearly overjoyed. He shook around excitedly and nearly fell off the Flying Broomstick, making him hurriedly grip it tightly again.

Snape's mouth twitched. He silently turned away and looked toward the Werewolf on the island.

"Lupin!"

Moonlight spread across the Small Island. The Werewolf anxiously ran about, roaring as he searched for a way out, only to recoil from the seawater.

So he could only roar at Snape and Anton in the sky.

Snape silently watched him and raised the arm holding his wand once more.

"Idol!"

A voice called out from afar.

The Young Wizard looked at him nervously. "Are you really going to kill him? Don't let how terrifying he looks now fool you. He's only a pitiful person who was bitten and infected by a Werewolf."

Snape turned his head and saw the Young Wizard blinking at him with wide, innocent eyes.

Whoosh!

The spell tore through the sky, brushing past Anton's hair. Blazing heat radiated from the spell's light, and goosebumps instantly covered Anton's neck.

Yet Anton only stared at him, his eyes filled with determination.

"Idol, killing is wrong!" The Young Wizard's words were so innocent and righteous. In a child's heart, there was always a firm place reserved for the purest part of the world.

"You are the hero in my heart. How could you kill someone? Back then, you followed the great Dumbledore and defeated the Dark Lord. Everyone praised your great achievements. You don't know this, but Wanderers' Camp is filled with cheers for you."

"But!" The Young Wizard was nearly crying as he shouted with heart-wrenching disbelief and unwavering conviction, "How could you be a murderer and a bad person?!"

Whoosh!

A dazzling spell flashed before him. This time it was even closer, practically skimming across his skin.

Fine!

I did my best!

Anton decisively pulled the Flying Broomstick upward. With a whoosh, he fled in panic.

At last, the world became quiet again.

Snape looked at the Werewolf once more.

"Lupin!"

His voice was faint and eerie. "If you, you worthless good guy, hadn't helped bring that piece of shit and Lily together, Lily wouldn't have died there in the end!"

"You can't tell right from wrong. As long as someone treats you well, you try your hardest to please them like some pathetic little dog."

Snape sneered, his eyes full of fury.

"But you idiot, Potter never trusted you. He only trusted that bastard. He only told that bastard about the Fidelius Charm!"

"Hahahaha, no one trusted you."

"Because you're a Werewolf. Hahaha, because you're a Werewolf."

As Snape spoke, tears streamed down his face. "They always like defining people that way. You're a Werewolf, so you can't be trusted completely. I liked Dark Magic, so Lily thought I was beyond saving and wanted to cut ties with me."

"Shit, it's all shit!"

"Die, Lupin! Once you're dead, you won't have to live so painfully anymore!" Snape looked at the Werewolf with the sorrow of one who shared his fate and pronounced his death sentence.

"Sectumsempra!"

Whoosh!

"Protego!"

A blue barrier appeared before the Werewolf and deflected the Sectumsempra spell.

Anton returned alone on the Flying Broomstick, swinging its tail as he stopped nearby.

Snape looked at him coldly. "I thought I had already given you two chances."

Anton smiled brightly. Beneath the moonlight, his white teeth gleamed. "Yeah. Sometimes, I think I'm just an idiot."
