Anton had met the Weasley family at the corner of Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley in August 1989. He had been in this world for only two months then, and had spent more than sixty days living with the constant fear of being killed.
Afterward, he went through a few things, and before he knew it, he had a group of "people" around him. Together, they crossed the sea and made it to France.
Then, after getting promoted at work, he returned to Britain.
Before he knew it, Christmas had arrived at the end of 1990. In just a few days, it would be 1991.
A year was neither especially long nor especially short. Anton and the others had never celebrated holidays before.
But this year, they were.
Mr. Lupin and Ilsa had enthusiastically decorated every floor of the house.
Anton, who had been ordered to blow up balloons, pulled a long face. "Maybe I never should've let you move into this house!"
Ilsa was trimming a Christmas tree beside the fireplace. "You can say whatever you like, Anton. It won't change a thing. Keep blowing those balloons. This is what all the kids celebrating Christmas love doing most."
"Damn it, one spell would take care of this in a second." Anton sighed and rubbed his cheeks. "You could at least have bought a pump. Why do I have to blow them up?"
Anna came over carrying the Christmas tree decorations and giggled at the sight.
It was pretty amusing. Anton, who had somehow become the parent among a group of adults, was being bossed around by this weepy woman.
"No! If you won't let me use my wand, you have to buy me a pump!" Anton blew hard into a balloon, but it burst from the force and startled
