Professor Trelawney spoke in a somewhat strange tone. Rubbing her fingers together, she nervously pushed Anton aside, leaned over the shelf, and rose onto her tiptoes to reach for a large jar.
After much effort, she finally got it down and forcefully pried off the lid. Inside were what looked like roasted dark tea leaves, giving off a peculiar musty scent with a faint fragrance.
In fact, pink fungal threads really did grow over the tea leaves.
Professor Trelawney set the jar beside the basin, raised both hands, and stared at Anton with her enormous eyes shining excitedly. "Now, grab a handful of tea leaves from the jar and toss them into this basin."
"You must silently recite what you intend to divine. You need to relax completely..."
"After throwing in the tea leaves, press your face close above the water's surface and look through the steam at the tea leaves at the bottom of the basin."
"Then tell me what you see!"

Looking at the excited Professor Trelawney, Anton finally understood what the books meant when they described ancient witches as mad and unhinged.
Seeing that Anton had not moved, Professor Trelawney hurriedly made an inviting hand gesture. "Quickly, quickly. You will surely complete a marvelous divination. I can see an exceedingly wonderful spiritual aura around you."
Anton raised an eyebrow. Much like how witches could see invisible creatures such as Harassing Horseflies, diviners also possessed Heavenly Eyes and could see spiritual auras.
He was not sure whether his so-called spiritual aura came from the Lake of the Mind or from Liquid Luck, but cooperating with Professor Trelawney, who was smiling
