Time Magic Reversed (Three): Sirius Was Totally Freaking Out!

The Soul Scalpel transformed from the Killing Curse plunged into Sirius's eye socket in an instant.

Sirius had been staring wide-eyed, ready to let out a death throe, but the sound caught in his throat. He didn't even dare blink, staring in terror at the spell's glow as it sank into his eye socket.

Anton had no intention of killing Sirius.

It wasn't just that he'd liked the character from reading the books and watching the movies in his previous life. Even if Sirius had only been Lupin's close friend, Anton wouldn't have taken out his anger over today's events on him.

"Peter..."

After a moment of silence, Sirius asked hoarsely, "Is he dead?"

Anton nodded gently. "He said the Animagus Transformation on you—oh, not the one that turns you into Padfoot, but the Tetrahedral Animagus Voldemort made for you..."

"Peter Pettigrew said Barty Crouch Jr. was the one who led the creation of this transformation."

"In other words, that guy's inside you now, hiding deep in your body like a creep."

"Don't move."

Anton crouched down and gripped Sirius's chin with one hand, keeping his head perfectly still.

"This'll only take a moment. Barty doesn't know that I know a little about bodies with multiple sides..." Anton cackled. "He thought he'd be safe just by hiding inside you..."

Even so, Anton worked with extreme caution.

Time passed slowly. The Time-Turner, whirling chaotically nearby, ticked at an erratic rhythm that grated on the nerves.

Sirius gradually calmed down, gazing at Anton with a complicated look.

He'd disliked the boy at first. He'd spent his
