Before she could finish, the world twisted around her again. A voice so familiar she could have recognized it anywhere rang out from beside the big bed. "All right~ My turn to fight back~... First, I need to get my Wand."

Eva Miles finally broke down. She cursed through her tears, sobbing as if her heart were breaking. "It's been three days! Do you know how I've survived these three days? Every day, every hour, every minute, I've been terrified, worrying that some other random thing would come along and make this Curse last forever."
