Time passed quickly. In the blink of an eye, the new school year had begun again.

Usually, this was the busiest time of year for Anton. The young wizards needed to borrow his homework so they could finish the little bit of holiday homework they had left before the next morning.

Of course, if they could borrow homework from the other Cabin Members for reference too, they wouldn't have to worry about the Professors catching them copying.

Before they knew it, the Cabin Members had gotten far ahead of their peers.

Even Neville and Hannah, the two dimwits everyone had once mocked, now knew more than Hermione, who was supposed to be top of the class, in some fields.

The weather was poor on the first day of the new school year.

The torrential rain soaked everyone.

Anton noticed that not many students were proficient in the "Waterproofing Charm" taught in class.

As for household magic like "Scourgify" or the "Drying Charm," the school didn't teach those. The few students who knew how to use them were almost all Pure-bloods or Half-bloods.

Those students clumsily cast the Charms, then smugly looked around at everyone else.

Even so, most students' spells were still ineffective, and their clothes remained damp.

Thinking back on how he had learned magic, Anton realized he had always focused on casting stronger spells better suited to the situation at hand. He had never worried about simply managing to cast a spell properly.

That seemed to be the state of the Wizarding World. Even with the Modern Magical System and magical school education becoming more developed, one fact remained painfully clear to everyone: magic would always belong to a select few.
