Pedro, the sage of the goblin age, "collector and traveler of time and memory," and a wanderer of the wizarding age, made his living treating Dark Wizards and half-bloods in the Borderlands. He lived on an even more remote island.
His peaceful life of several centuries seemed to have been completely upended after Anton arrived.
Anton had given him a great deal of hope.
But sometimes, well, things didn't seem quite so wonderful.
Pedro suddenly realized that he was about to take part in another complicated, troublesome experiment, once again becoming the one experimented on.
Fortunately, the half-blood Filius Flitwick was joining him as a fellow test subject this time.
With Flitwick by his side and Anton and Lupin present, at least he didn't have to worry about human Wizards like Dumbledore, Grindelwald, and Nicolas Flamel dissecting him for research.

Clearly, the Old Wizard Fiennes hadn't been satisfied with that.
It seemed he had improved the Potion once more—perhaps even several times.
"Whoa!" Anton drank the Potion and felt a searing heat in his stomach, as if a flame were giving rise to a thick cloud of vapor that
