God Realm.

The clouds and mist shifted endlessly, sometimes rolling like crashing waves, sometimes as tranquil as a beautiful woman. Their changes followed no pattern, yet each one brought greater beauty and awe.

A dense concentration of heaven-and-earth energy lingered within the clouds. If an ordinary human could come here, even a single breath would extend their lifespan by ten years.

Of course, with an ordinary person's constitution, absorbing too much heaven-and-earth energy would hardly be a good thing. It was simply too much of a good thing.

Magnificent palaces shimmered with a faint golden radiance beneath the God Realm's halo. This was the highest point in the entire God Realm, as well as the place that controlled everything within it.

The God Realm Committee held the duty of judging the gods, as well as managing the God Realm and upholding its rules.

The palace's main hall was octagonal. None of the surrounding walls bore any decorations, yet countless scenes flickered and shifted across them. Every Light Screen represented a world, a scene, from a different planet in the mortal realm.

This was also where the God Realm Committee monitored the planets within the various smaller star systems of this great star system.

At the center of the main hall stood a round table, around which sat five figures.

Or rather, they were not human.

The ones seated here were the Five Great God Kings who ruled the God Realm!

Above God Kings was another realm known as the God of Creation. As the name implied, the present God Realm had been created when a God of Creation divided their own power.

After creating the God Realm, that God of Creation transformed into five seeds—Kindness, Evil, Life, Destruction, and Asura—much as Pangu had become all things.

After countless years of growth, these five seeds gradually gained their own wisdom. They were the five origins of this world and the five Supreme Gods of this God Realm.

Among them,

Kindness and Evil formed thought and emotion, while Life and Destruction created the entire God Realm. If Kindness and Evil were the heavens of the God Realm, then Destruction and Life were its earth.

Asura, positioned at the center, harmonized all order between heaven and earth. Only then did the God Realm come into being, and only then did it become what it was today.

At that moment, the five Supreme Gods of the God Realm all focused on one wall. Many Light Screens covered it, but the image on one of them was blurred, as though covered in mosaic.

And the world represented by that Light Screen was Douluo Continent, where Ye Cheng was located.

The God Realm governed one hundred and eight subordinate Realms. In terms modern people could understand, the God Realm primarily controlled a large star system similar to the Milky Way.

Within this large star system were 108 smaller star systems similar to the Solar System. Put plainly, the so-called Realms of the God Realm referred to planets. Worlds referred to the worlds represented by those planets, not the vast and boundless universe as a whole.

From a modern perspective, the God Realm's grandeur instantly dropped by several dozen levels!

"Starting six days ago, this Realm known as Douluo Continent suddenly broke free from the God Realm's control." Asura, seated in the central seat of honor, spoke.

The God Realm was a special space formed from the power of faith entrusted by its subordinate Realms, and time flowed at a different rate there. One day in the God Realm was equivalent to one year in the subordinate Realms. That was why Asura had said six days ago.

"Could it have been the work of those Dragon God remnants?" God of Destruction frowned deeply and said with killing intent.

The so-called Dragon God was a powerful deity who had ascended from the lower realm many years ago.

This Dragon God could be considered the ancestor of all Dragon Clan members within the entire God Realm Great Star System. Relying on his uniquely gifted talent, he cultivated to godhood and condensed both the Godhead of Destruction and the Godhead of Creation! Despite possessing no divine position, he made an exceptional ascension to the God Realm.

Furthermore, upon arriving in the God Realm and absorbing its pure energy, coupled with his possession of the two supreme godheads of Destruction and Creation, the Dragon God directly crossed the thresholds of Third-Level God, Second-Level God, and First-Level God, attaining the position of God King on the spot. He stood on equal footing with the Five Great God Kings.

What was even more outrageous was that the Dragon God actually held the position of two God Kings!

It was easy to imagine that in a one-on-one fight, none of the five God Kings would have been a match for the Dragon God.

Naturally, the sudden arrival of such a powerful figure made the Five Great God Kings deeply wary. After all, a powerhouse whom none of them could defeat alone had suddenly appeared on their own turf. How could they possibly rest easy?

Thus, the God Realm Committee, represented by the Five Great God Kings, immediately sought to place him under restrictions!

But how could the Dragon God possibly agree to become a dog for those five God Kings?

Back in the mortal realm, the Dragon God had reigned supreme, invincible throughout the world. After making an exceptional ascension to the God Realm and breaking free of his restraints, his accumulated foundation had allowed him to directly gain the position of two God Kings!

Any one of the Five Great God Kings would definitely have been no match for him. Even if two God Kings joined forces, they would probably still have struggled.

Under such circumstances, how could the Dragon God possibly submit to the tyrannical pressure of the five God Kings?

He directly joined forces with the other Divine Beasts in the God Realm, launched a war, and fought against the gods!

At that time, the various Demonic Beasts, Soul Beasts, and the like in the mortal realms under the God Realm were still permitted to enter the God Realm after cultivating through their own efforts to God Rank. They even possessed a separate divine hierarchy exclusively for Divine Beasts.

Yet Divine Beasts had always been ruled by the gods, occupying a status akin to cattle and horses. It was easy to imagine how Divine Beasts, whose intelligence was no different from that of humans, could possibly accept such a fate willingly.

It was only because the gods had always held overwhelming power that the Divine Beasts had been forced to submit.

Now, the arrival of a powerful leader gave them a backbone.

Under the Dragon God's leadership, the Divine Beasts' wild yearning for freedom erupted, and they sought to unify the God Realm!

This war quickly spread throughout the entire God Realm.

The five rulers of the God Realm Committee—God of Kindness, God of Evil, Asura, God of Destruction, and Goddess of Life—joined forces, leading the gods of the God Realm into battle against the Divine Beasts.

But the Five Great God Kings had no sense of fair play and actually joined forces to fight the Dragon God. Even though he held the position of two God Kings, facing five opponents of the same level, the Dragon God was outnumbered and utterly unable to prevail.

In the end, the Divine Beasts led by the Dragon God were defeated.

The Dragon God's Divine Sense and divine soul were completely shattered, but at the final moment, relying on his formidable power despite his severe injuries, he forcibly split himself into the Golden Dragon King and the Silver Dragon King.

His once incomparably powerful and perfect abilities were inherited separately by the Golden Dragon King and the Silver Dragon King.

The Golden Dragon King inherited the Dragon God's formidable physical abilities: boundless strength, an indestructible body, and unmatched speed. Most importantly, he inherited the Godhead of Destruction!

The Silver Dragon King, meanwhile, inherited the Dragon God's ability to control elemental power. She could command the seven elements of water, fire, earth, wind, light, darkness, and space. Most importantly, she inherited the Godhead of Creation!

When the Dragon God split apart, an enormously powerful surge of energy erupted. In order to eliminate the threat completely, the God Realm Committee pursued with all its strength.

In the end, the Golden Dragon King was left behind in the God Realm, but the Five Great God Kings could not kill him. At the final moment, the Golden Dragon King used his own origin power to form an impregnable Dragon Cocoon around himself!

This Dragon Cocoon, formed from the origin power of a God King, was far too sturdy. The five God Kings could do nothing to him for the time being, so they simply sealed it away and planned to deal with it slowly later. Yet even now, they still had no way to handle it.

The Silver Dragon King, however, took advantage of the chaos to break out of the God Realm and plunge into the Space-Time Turbulence, vanishing without a trace. There had been no sign of her ever since.

Now that an anomaly had appeared on Douluo Continent, God of Destruction's first thought was that the missing Silver Dragon King, one of the Dragon God's fugitive remnants, was behind it.

P.S. The settings surrounding the Dragon God's God Realm differ across Douluo 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Earlier, the Dragon God was said to have ascended from the lower realm, but later he was said to be the God of Creation himself, with the God Realm created by the Dragon God. The two accounts contradicted each other, so the author chose the more reasonable version here. After all, if the Dragon God truly were the God of Creation, then from Douluo II onward, the theme of racial conflict between humans and Soul Beasts, along with all those sacrifices and struggles... would that not become a joke?
