Unlocking the Hitomi

Swish, swish, swish.

Several figures landed at that moment. They were Yusuke and the others, with Sasuke in their hands.

Yusuke took in the tense standoff and exchanged a look with the Great Elder.

He raised his voice and reported, "Reporting to the Great Elder: the Fourth Elder has successfully defeated Uchiha Itachi, rescued Sasuke, and successfully turned Itachi to our side."

"The Fourth Elder has already gone to the Security Force headquarters to wipe out the accomplices Itachi brought in to massacre the clan."

Yusuke handed Sasuke over to Mayumi and continued, "The Fourth Elder has ordered the Great Elder and the clan head to set aside their differences for now, organize the personnel, and prepare at any moment for battle against Danzo and Root."

Mayumi already had his weapon drawn. Holding the unconscious Sasuke, he fixed his eyes on Fugaku, the threat in his gaze unmistakable.

Fugaku's face alternated between green and white, as though he had been slapped twice.

Everything was true. His own son had betrayed the clan and had come under Konoha's orders to exterminate it.

Not only had he known nothing, he had not made the slightest preparation.

He did not even dare imagine how great the clan's losses would have been without Senyo and the Great Elder.

Although the Great Elder was currently using Sasuke as a hostage, it was entirely understandable.

"Drag those two idiots, Yanhe and Hiroki, over here. Let them see how their beloved Konoha intends to deal with us."

Fugaku answered awkwardly, then hurried off to organize the men.

As for Sasuke, let him sleep for now.

Yanhe and Hiroki were the Second Elder and Third Elder, respectively.

They were the Uchiha Clan's most dovish elders, the two elders most devoted to peaceful coexistence with Konoha.

Shisui had belonged to Yanhe's faction.

However, in the brief two years since Shisui's death, the Uchiha Clan's authority in the Security Force had been greatly diminished.

And after most Uchiha clan members supported the coup, the two elders could only retire at home and live out their old age.

The Great Elder had dragged the two elders out now not solely to humiliate them.

After all, they still had some supporters under them. Only by making them see reality clearly could more clan members be united as one.

Around thirty Uchiha clan members, together with Rinto and five others, had completely tied Obito down.

Though Obito wore a mask, his expression was livid beneath it.

Although he could turn intangible with Kamui, he could not attack at all.

With some time to spare now, Senyo wanted to wait and see whether Obito would attack these people.

Senyo crouched atop a treetop, his entire body blending into the shadows, his presence faint and indistinct.

He saw several clan members heading toward the Security Force after spotting the Signal Flare.

But from the moment they appeared until they ran out of sight, Obito never showed himself.

Senyo shrugged. It seemed he had guessed wrong.

He suddenly turned his head and looked to the right. The sounds of fighting seemed to be coming from there.
