Arc 33Hanabi and the Desert Campaign

Senyo’s effort to protect Hanabi failed when Obito and Black Zetsu attacked during the Chunin Exam, leaving her blinded and her eyes stolen. As Konoha and Iwagakure began their campaign against Sunagakure by transforming the desert, Black Zetsu delivered Hanabi’s eyes to Toneri on the moon.

  • Senyo temporarily revived Hiashi so Hanabi and Hinata could reunite with their father, then discovered that White Zetsu were tracking talented Hyuga members for people on the moon.
  • Senyo allied with Ōnoki, promising to green part of the Land of Wind in exchange for Iwagakure troops, while the Chunin Exam began in Konoha.
  • Hanabi, Moegi, and Hiroki entered the Forest of Death, where Obito tried to abduct Hinata and Naruto fought him off before Black Zetsu seized Hanabi.

Arc 34Snow Country and the Two Fronts

Senyo helped Hidden Mist Village repel Kumogakure while taking Sasuke’s group to the Land of Snow, where they killed Kazahana Dōtō and uncovered the Rainbow Crystal Walls’ natural energy. The arc left Konoha expanding its foothold in the Land of Snow as Sasuke continued his imprinting and Senyo began testing Karin’s potential for Sage Techniques.

  • Orochimaru confirmed Fugaku’s eyes had recovered and Itachi’s had evolved, while Senyo sent Fugaku to the front and urged Itachi to focus on training.
  • Senyo took Sasuke, Karin, Kimimaro, and Haku toward the Land of Snow, while Konoha forces continued greening the Land of Wind and Sunagakure prepared to resist them.
  • Kumogakure attacked Ryūgyū Port and the Daimyo’s Mansion, prompting Senyo and Karatachi Yagura to pursue Killer B and Darui with Kyōkotsu and Hyōri.

Arc 35The Land of Wind Offensive

Senyo’s forces defeated Sunagakure’s desert defense and expanded Konoha’s campaign while Kumogakure and Kusagakure faced new threats. Obito stole the Box of Ultimate Bliss, and Black Zetsu warned the Raikage that Konoha could soon threaten Kumogakure.

  • Senyo helped Karin train in Sage Chakra, established a barrier around the Rainbow Crystal Walls, and arranged for Sasuke and Karin to practice Sage Mode and undergo the Engraving Method.
  • Senyo helped transform parts of the desert into fertile land and offered water to communities that joined the Land of Fire, while the Raikage’s retreating forces were intercepted by Senyo and the Hidden Mist.
