The Daoist boy led Li Su, not lingering near the Jade Void Palace, but instead flying on clouds towards the side of the mountain range.

Kunlun Mountain was vast and boundless, with countless immortal peaks and cave dwellings, where many registered disciples, outer disciples, and even some immortal birds and exotic beasts resided.

After flying for a while, they arrived at a relatively secluded mountain valley. The valley was filled with abundant spiritual energy, with babbling streams and growing exotic flowers and plants, creating a serene environment.

Deep within the valley, several cave dwellings were carved into the mountainside. One of them had a tightly shut stone door, without any markings.

"Senior Brother Mo Xing, this is the cave dwelling assigned to you, 'Listening Bamboo Abode'."

The Daoist boy took out a jade token and waved it at the stone door. The door slid open silently. "This jade token is the key to the cave dwelling's restrictions. Please keep it safe. There are a few other senior brothers and sisters cultivating in the valley; they are all from our Jade Purity sect. You may get to know them."

Li Su took the jade token. With a scan of his divine sense, he understood how to use it. "Thank you, junior brother."

The Daoist boy cupped his hands. "If Senior Brother has any questions, you may go to the 'Affairs Hall' halfway up the mountain to inquire. I still need to return and report, so I bid you farewell." With that, he flew away on the clouds.

Li Su stepped into the cave dwelling.

The interior was quite spacious, with a stone bed, a meditation cushion, a pill furnace, a medicinal garden, and other necessary facilities. Though simple, it exuded an immortal aura. Furthermore, the depths of the cave dwelling seemed to have tapped into a spiritual eye from an earth vein, making the spiritual energy particularly dense.

More importantly, the environment made him feel very comfortable.

"This place is excellent," Li Su nodded with satisfaction. He reconfigured the cave dwelling's restrictions, adding some of his own formations and techniques, greatly enhancing its defense and secrecy.

After settling in, he didn't immediately begin cultivating. Instead, he decided to visit the "Scripture Repository" first. Yuanshi Tianzun had permitted him to browse the outer sect's scriptures, which was an excellent opportunity to understand the Primordial World, enrich his knowledge, and find ideas for integrating various methods.

Following the map guidance within the jade token, Li Su quickly found the Scripture Repository located between several immortal peaks.

It was a nine-story jade pagoda, towering majestically, its treasure light piercing the heavens, with disciples constantly entering and exiting.

He displayed his registered disciple jade token and successfully entered the first floor. The interior space was far more vast than it appeared from the outside, like a small world. Countless jade slips, books, and animal skin scrolls floated in the air, categorized and emitting various colored lights. Disciples either sat quietly reading or scanned with their divine sense, the atmosphere exceptionally peaceful.

Li Su's divine sense swept through. He discovered that the first floor mostly contained books on the geography and anomalies of the Primordial World, illustrations of spiritual materials, basic alchemy and artifact refining, and common cultivation methods and spiritual powers (up to the Earth Immortal level). His vision was already high, so these offered limited help. He proceeded directly to the second floor.

Starting from the second floor, the quality of the texts significantly improved. Many cultivation insights, spiritual powers, spell techniques, and detailed explanations of formations appeared, even some rudimentary discussions on the rules of the Great Dao. Here, Li Su found the basic and some advanced chapters of the Jade Purity Immortal Method. Although not the core teachings, it was a complete system, balanced and peaceful, which greatly aided his understanding of the orthodox Daoist path.

He immersed himself, absorbing knowledge like a starving man.

He then ascended to the third floor, the fourth floor... The higher he went, the fewer texts there were, and the more profound they became. Some even contained fragmented notes or insights from Golden Immortals and Grand Unity Golden Immortals. However, these required corresponding permissions or contribution points to read. With his current registered disciple permissions, Li Su could only reach the fifth floor.

Even so, his gains were immense. The system of the orthodox Xuanmen, the principles of various spiritual powers and spell techniques, knowledge of alchemy and artifact refining, records of the myriad races of the Primordial World, fragments of ancient secrets... The vast sea of information was madly absorbed, understood, and integrated into his own knowledge system. He paid special attention to texts concerning "stars," "devouring," "formations," "defense," and "physical body sanctification," cross-referencing them with his own learning.

In a corner on the fourth floor, he even found a damaged jade slip that contained a few fragmented records about "Buzhou Mountain," calling it "Pangu's spine. The pillar of heaven and earth, containing the supreme laws of 'Strength' and 'Defense.' After its collapse, the laws scattered throughout the Primordial World." This led him to deeper speculation about the origin of the "Bedrock Rune."

In another jade slip introducing the Western Sect, he saw some descriptions of "protection," "compassion," and "golden body," which faintly echoed the Daoist charm of that broken jade pendant. He also saw more records about the Witch Clan, the Demon Clan, the Dragon-Han Initial Tribulation, and the Witch-Demon War. Although mostly vague, they gave him a more three-dimensional understanding of Primordial history.

Thus, Li Su spent several months in the Scripture Repository. When hungry, he consumed pills; when tired, he meditated briefly. His knowledge reserve grew at an astonishing rate, many of his cultivation doubts were resolved, and his thoughts on his own path became increasingly clear.

One day, as he was engrossed in a fragmented treatise on the "Cosmos Stellar Array" (even the peripheral discussion benefited him greatly), he suddenly overheard the low conversation of two inner disciples nearby.

"Did you hear? In three months, the 'Myriad Manifestations Heavenly Stairway' will open again!"

"Really? I wonder who will win this time and gain the qualification to enter the 'Chaos Secret Realm' for enlightenment!"

"It's tough! I heard that several senior brothers and sisters at the True Immortal realm are already sharpening their knives! That's the Chaos Secret Realm, said to contain the opportunity for sanctification!"
