Background / History

Li Su began as an ordinary bamboo in a corpse-strewn ancient battlefield. After being engulfed by the blood of a ferocious beast, he awakened the Devouring Evolution System and learned that he was a Nine-Section Soul-Devouring Bamboo with a Postnatal Spiritual Root. The absorbed energy and chaotic will nearly destroyed him, forcing him to pursue strength and Evolution Points to survive 2.

After attaining the Earth Immortal realm, Li Su hunted isolated fierce beasts with Soul-Devouring Dark Light and discovered a fragment of the Bedrock Rune within a giant beast’s skull 6 7. He later risked his life to seize Star Evil Crystals, completing an evolution into the High-Grade Postnatal Spiritual Root known as Mo Xing Soul-Devouring Bamboo 8 9.

The Bedrock Rune repeatedly guided Li Su northwest through fleeting visions connected to the Kunlun Mirror.
