Background / History

Early life and warrior qualification

Qin Mu trained at the Limit Martial Arts School while supporting a worker insect with large quantities of meat. After Wang Qing gave him a Human Cell Repair Agent, his injuries healed and his physical capabilities improved enough for advanced-student qualification. 6

He passed the Pre-warrior assessment alongside Luo Feng, Yang Wu, and Bai Yang, beginning a friendly association with Luo Feng. 7 9 He celebrated with Wang Qing—whom he calls Uncle Qing—and later offered to house Wang Qing’s family in his future warrior-district villa. 9

Military service and the Swarm

During the Warrior Practical Combat Assessment, Qin Mu exposed his Mental Master capabilities by controlling twelve flying knives, slaughtered more than a hundred monsters, flew with Alloy Combat Boots, and tamed a Shadow Cat. 27 He emerged with 226 monster ears and more than a dozen tamed monsters, prompting recruitment offers from the military, two martial-arts schools, and the HR Alliance. 28

Qin Mu chose the military because it could support his interests in monster studies, gene engineering, and systematic research. He enrolled at Jiangnan First Military School and used military resources to obtain World Annihilation, Mental Master manuals, weapons, and combat gear. 29 30 32

His rapid growth, large-scale monster taming, and ability to tame Lord-level monsters drew direct military attention. The military offered him an exceptional contract and resources in exchange for his service. 46

Rise on Earth

The Thousand-Year Willow Heart elevated Qin Mu to Mid-Level War God in both physical fitness and mental power, while the Black God Set gave him highly resilient defensive equipment. 50 After returning from Site 9, he tested at Planetary Level 1 and began refining the Heavenly Escape secret technique. 64

He used Swarm resources, Zerg units, and bloodline research to strengthen Earth and Huaxia. He sold more than 5,000 Zerg units to the military, completed the War God Palace assessment mission, and arranged Professor Zhou’s treatment to restore Uncle Qing’s missing arm. 57

Entering the universe

Qin Mu obtained the Meteorite Star inheritance and intended to make it a foundation for Earth’s rising geniuses, including Luo Feng, Hong, Thunder God, and Jia Yi. 102 He later became Yu Chen’s disciple, receiving a Virtual Universe laboratory, material funding, and ten billion Cosmic Coins in startup capital for his apothecary research. 124

To complement his simultaneous comprehension of multiple Origin Laws, Qin Mu chose the Myriad Manifestations Heavenly Wheel rather than a conventional Controller weapon. 131 132 His research into giant-beast bloodlines and Zerg genetic structures accelerated his comprehension of Domains and Origin Laws. 131 194

Genius Battle and Chaos City

Qin Mu dominated the Genius Battle by deploying the Myriad Manifestations Heavenly Wheel, multi-law Domains, mental attacks, and control techniques. 180 182 He cleared all seven levels of the seventh Trial Tower, an unprecedented accomplishment that led Chaos City Lord to accept him as a personal disciple. 185

In Chaos City, Qin Mu completed the first three diagrams’ analysis of the Cosmic Chaos Stele, comprehending all 108 fundamental essences of the Space and Time Origin Laws. 198 He also used the Tongtian Bridge as a live training environment, rapidly extracting the essence of opponents’ techniques during battle. 194

Bloodline research and human development

Qin Mu developed Gene Seeds, Perfect Divine Bodies, Bloodline Potions, and the proposed Living Armor system. His research improved the Human Race’s potential and made him a central figure in its Divine Power Path development. 296 537 619

He protected Earth’s interests, revealed its unusual value to his closest allies, and planned to use annual access quotas to fund Huaxia’s growth. 303 His position as Chaos City Lord’s disciple and his contributions to the Human Race deterred other Universe Lords from attempting to seize Earth. 303 304

Duan Donghe inheritance and later expansion

Qin Mu surpassed competing candidates in the Rhino Emperor Game, became the 193rd Duan Donghe inheritor, and received the lineage’s inheritance mark. 601 604 He inherited the ultimate secret techniques Annihilation Strike, East Splendor, and Immortal River, intending to revive Duan Donghe’s name. 605

After reaching the Universe Lord realm, he opened parts of the Duan Donghe inheritance to aid the Human Race’s cultivation. 608 619 He later shared other cultivation systems with Mountain Lord, Giant Axe, and the Empress while preparing forces to enter additional Source Worlds. 663

Qin Country and the Bloodline Path

On the Origin Continent, Qin Mu established influence through the Myriad Beast Sect and eventually announced the unification of the continent’s powers under Qin Country. 753 823 He pursued multiple Origin Great Daos and aimed to pioneer other Source Worlds and Cultivation Sacred Realms. 823

In the Nine Rivers Sacred Realm, he introduced the Bloodline Compendium: a structured Bloodline Path intended to help cultivators decipher, combine, and excavate Primordial Life bloodlines. 832 833 His work raised hopes that Divine Emperor-level cultivators could overcome the Cage that had blocked their advancement. 833

Appearance

Qin Mu’s appearance is mutable due to genetic modification and his Change Technique talent. He initially modified his Larva Nest Tyrant form to remain humanoid and handsome, while later adopting an unknown Special Life guise when entering the Ancestral God Cult. 252 359 362

  • In his Ancestral God Cult disguise, he appeared roughly three meters tall with a horn, scales, a thick tail, bronze armor, and a saber. 362
  • His Larva Nest Tyrant body can alter size dramatically, from a vast giant-beast form to a body near the Chaos City Lord’s height. 359
  • His body can shrink to fit ordinary spaces despite a much larger natural physique. 306
  • He often wears battle armor formed by the Cloud-Soaring Vine and pays little attention to formal appearance outside significant occasions. 133

Personality

Qin Mu is deliberate, ambitious, and strongly oriented toward long-term preparation. He intentionally revealed his strength during the warrior assessment to secure recruitment opportunities, chose the military for research access, and later consolidated powers under Qin Country to pursue expansion beyond the Origin Continent. 27 29 823

He is intensely dedicated to cultivation and research. Jia Yi observed that Qin Mu consistently chose training, monster hunting, and ascetic discipline over comfort after becoming a warrior. 60 Even after gaining powerful inheritances and extensive resources, Qin Mu continued to focus on gene engineering, bloodline research, law comprehension, and combat practice. 115 136

Despite his calculating nature, Qin Mu is loyal to those who supported him when he was weak. He repaid Uncle Qing’s care with housing, medical treatment, and protection for his family; he also repeatedly invested in Luo Feng, Hong, Thunder God, Jia Yi, and other Earthlings. 9 57 95 303

Qin Mu is cautious about existential threats rather than cowardly. He distributed Swarm clones and made contingency plans before major breakthroughs, yet accepted dangerous opportunities when they offered a path beyond his limits. 636

  • Learned Illusion Extinguishing Soul Lock, a soul attack-and-defense secret art that reached the third level during his Stellar-stage cultivation. 159 176

Beast Taming

Qin Mu can control and tame monsters, initially concealing the ability under the identity of a Beast Tamer. 27

  • Tamed a Shadow Cat during the practical assessment. 27
  • Returned from Monster Town with more than a dozen controlled monsters. 28
  • Later tamed an Initial Lord-level Black Crown Golden Eagle and large numbers of Beast General-level monsters. 46
  • Revealed that he had tamed a King-level monster to secure Jia Yi’s cooperation. 67

Myriad Manifestations Heavenly Wheel

Qin Mu’s primary psionic weapon is a multi-attribute Controller divine weapon designed to use several Origin Laws.

  • Built around a mother wheel and ten sub-wheels corresponding to Origin Laws. 131
  • Can use sub-wheels independently or combine them to amplify its power. 131
  • His strongest early sub-wheels were Gold, Fire, Earth, and Space. 176
  • Used Earth, Space, and Time effects to impose triple weakening on Blood Mane Mammoths during the Genius Battle. 180
  • Deployed the Gold Wheel’s Myriad Swords Return to Origin with the Space Wheel to create a condensed sword domain. 176

Although primarily a Mental Master, Qin Mu developed substantial close-combat ability.

  • Purchased and practiced the World Annihilation spear technique, which includes movement and power-amplification methods. 30 33

  • Mastered Guiyi Master’s strongest innate secret technique, Heavenly Gang Blade, after five years of study. 517

Bloodline and Gene Engineering

Qin Mu’s defining non-combat specialty is the analysis, refinement, and evolution of bloodlines.

  • Researches monsters, Starry Sky Giant Beasts, Special Lives, and Primordial Lifeforms to understand genes and laws. 29 194 833
  • Mastered the second level of Bloodline Evolution within one year, far ahead of Yu Chen’s expectations. 159
  • Developed Gene Seeds and Perfect Divine Bodies capable of raising life levels on a massive scale. 296 450
  • Proposed Living Armor capable of carrying talents, enhancing bloodlines, and improving gene multipliers. 296
  • Founded the Bloodline Compendium system to organize the Bloodline Path and guide others in unlocking their potential. 833

  • Confinement — talent obtained from a Chasm Giant Beast. 252
  • Several more complex talents, including Clone, Nirvana Rebirth, and Time Stop, remained under research at that time. 252

Willpower

Qin Mu’s willpower is one of his greatest strengths and supports both his Swarm network and high-level cultivation.

  • His Swarm’s soul network suppressed the will contained in a Blood Luo Crystal. 204
  • Passed the Sea of Illusions’ tenth island, where he dispelled an illusion of his past life and attained mental completeness. 211
  • Chose not to continue deeper into the Sea of Illusions to avoid drawing dangerous attention toward Earth. 211
  • Eventually achieved Mind Will beyond the Divine King realm and received a perfect Infinite Space evaluation. 801
