Arc 13A Promise to Save Astoria

Jon learned that he was a Prophet Animagus, helped Dumbledore destroy another Horcrux, and left Hogwarts as the wizarding world began to recover from the battle. At Greengrass Manor, Jon learned that Astoria might die from her Blood Curse and proposed a dangerous way to save her.

Arc 15The Albanian Soul Tree

Jon hunted the vampires and werewolves threatening Transylvania and earned a branch of Kruja’s sacred Soul Tree. He then traveled to Beauxbatons to request leave so he could stay near his gravely ill friend, Astoria.

  • Jon traveled to Kruja with Xander, learned about the Skanderbeg family’s Giant Eagle transformation, and asked the elders for a branch of the Kalaba Soul Tree.
  • Elder Phineas agreed to give Jon a branch if he killed the vampires attacking Kruja, so Jon went with Xander to investigate the murders in Ghileu.
  • Jon learned from Joseph Pistol that vampires had not attacked the area in fifty years, while Fenrir Greyback recruited vampires at Dracula’s Castle for Voldemort.
