"Hahaha! Even three of you at once were no match for me!"

After easily taking down all three, Name spun around on the spot, laughing wildly, his drug-enhanced voice tinged with hoarse excitement. He raised both arms and pointed at the watching players, swaggering as he shouted, "Come on! I'll take on ten!"

But no sooner had his boast left his mouth than a sickly sweetness rose in his throat. A gush of hot, bloody liquid surged out uncontrollably, splattering the lenses of his gas mask. Crimson blood trickled down the mask, leaving the watching players utterly bewildered.

Realizing something was wrong, Name hurriedly opened his system panel. He had been blissfully ignorant until he looked—and what he saw gave even him a fright.

Some attributes had skyrocketed. His muscle strength, for example, was practically shooting through the roof:

But other attributes had plummeted to levels comparable to a paramecium's, leaving Name alarmed:

Any one of them could kill a mortal within minutes, but each had a (Suppressed) tag attached. Clearly, the moment those tags disappeared would be the moment Name died. And now... he had only a few seconds left.

"That can't be right!" Name's eyes widened, and he threw back his head with an indignant howl. "You said I'd live for at least twenty-four hours after taking the drugs..."
