Eugene found Yao Clan Town without much effort.
Because the local magnetic field was very unusual. With so many houses and thousands of Cogworkers gathered there, the powerful magnetism radiating through the magnetic field domain could be sensed from far away.
Outside the town stood a great archway built from Appendages, like some kind of U-shaped giant magnet turned upside down on the ground.
Past it was a street. On both sides stood the houses of the Yao Clan Cogworkers, likewise built from Embryo Bases. None of the houses were large, but they were arranged neatly and orderly, and Cogworkers kept emerging from them, heading toward another area at the far end of the street.
Eugene followed behind two Skeleton Men and made his way to the Work Zone.
This place had been divided into square sections. T-shaped workbenches made from Appendages had been installed on the ground, roughly three or four hundred of them, arranged just as neatly. Every Yao Clan Cogworker carried out their crafting at a fixed workbench.
At the center of every eight workbenches was a raw material storage area. Dedicated Cogworkers came over to supply the necessary raw materials, stacking the various materials separately so everything was clear at a glance.
The clinking hammer blows, the thuds of Appendages striking, and the constant hum of Sun Wheels spinning at high speed filled the air without pause.
Eugene could only watch from a distance. He could not step inside, because this was a place only Yao Clan Cogworkers could use.
