"Minister, there are reports that a riot has broken out at Azkaban prison under your Ministry's jurisdiction. Is this true?"
"Minister Fudge, it is said that dozens of serious criminals escaped from Azkaban during this riot. Does your Ministry have a detailed list of the escapees?"
"Mr. Fudge, I'm Karl Kane, a reporter from the Gargoyle Report. How exactly did this terrible prison break happen?"
A middle-aged wizard with chestnut curls broke through Kingsley's blockade and successfully grabbed Fudge, whose face was livid as he tried to force his way into the overcrowded reception hall.
"Sorry, no comment!"
Fudge suddenly turned his head and glared menacingly at the French reporter, looking as though he wanted to devour him, then roared.
"Oh, Minister, Azkaban wizard prison has always been guarded by Dementors—"
The French reporter was not intimidated by Fudge's terrifying glare. Instead, he shouted even louder.
"Does this mean the Dementors no longer obey the British Ministry of Magic? Have they rebelled alongside those serious criminals?"
"Utter nonsense!"
Fudge yanked his sleeve back with all his strength.
"Damn it, I need to get out of here. Oh, Kingsley. Delix! Where are you all? Get these people out of here! They—they aren't authorized to enter the Ministry!"
About half a minute later, Delix, who had even lost his shoes in the crush, crawled out from beneath a reporter's legs and reached Fudge's side.
"Oh, that may be difficult, Minister. About half of Europe's magical world has gathered here, we—"
"Half of Europe's magical world's reporters!"
Fudge roughly shoved aside the reporter in front of him.
"Yes, Minister!"
Delix used his body to clear a path for Fudge.
"The other half are still on their way, or are stuck outside and haven't managed to get in!"
"It's only been half a day!"
