The endless sea of gray clouds, alive with dazzling thunder serpents, churned violently!
At the center of the cloud cover that blanketed the sky, directly above the Hogwarts grounds, a massive vortex opened in the heavy clouds.
As if hell itself had descended, shrill howls fell from the heavens. Under everyone's horrified gaze, an enormous island, one that made Hogwarts Castle seem utterly tiny, was descending!
"Avalon!"
Amid the howling gale, Vitia murmured blankly,

Fromid's lips trembled as he whispered in despair.

Sirius looked up at the gigantic island gradually emerging from the rolling gray clouds and crashing down toward Hogwarts, a bleak smile on his face.
"What kind of joke is this?"
If that island fell, Hogwarts would be razed to the ground. Vast stretches of the Forbidden Forest would suffer utter devastation, and Hogsmeade would likewise be wiped away. No one would survive.
The roars of savage beasts, rolling thunder, shrieking winds, surging waves, cracking earth, and the wails of the thousand-year-old castle—
The cacophony intertwined into a deathly symphony!
With no outside force driving it, Avalon Island was descending entirely in free fall. Its immense mass rubbed violently against the air and burst into raging flames. Rocks shattered by gravity, wrapped in fire, continuously bombarded Hogwarts.
Perhaps Hogwarts Castle, which had witnessed the rise and fall of magic, would be destroyed before the island even hit the ground.
Inside the battered Headmaster's office, riddled with holes, no one fled in panic.
Too late... it was all too late.
Space had been sealed off. Even Fawkes could not break through it, and no one could escape the area Avalon Island would crush before it fell.
Well, perhaps the Firebolt could.
That faint thought
