Narcissa and Harry emerged from the hazy, warped vortex of space.
Gazing at the imposing wrought-iron gates in the distance, Narcissa struggled to suppress her hatred and looked away, studying Harry warily.
"I know."
As though the force of destiny had settled upon him, Harry looked at the grand, luxurious Malfoy Manor, his heart filled with a strange calm.
A peculiar smile touched his lips as Harry turned to Narcissa and nodded gratefully.
"Thank you, Mrs. Malfoy."
In silence, Narcissa took a step back. She gazed deeply at Harry, at this Boy Who Lived.
Because of the Dark Lord and Draco, they had always kept a close eye on Harry Potter.
Through word of mouth, they had learned much about Harry Potter's time at Hogwarts: an arrogant, conceited, thoroughly detestable boy who never learned his lesson.
That had always been Lucius's assessment of Harry Potter, and she had agreed with it completely.
But now, Narcissa had to admit that, at the very least, this boy's courage filled her with awe.
"You came to see Voldemort... truly on Dumbledore's and Breen's orders?"
Narcissa still could not shake her doubts. A large part of why she had agreed to bring him to Malfoy Manor was because he had told her that he was carrying out Dumbledore's and Breen's orders.
He had not looked as if he were lying when he said it, so Narcissa had agreed to his request.
"If anything happens to me, your and Draco's memories will prove your innocence to the Ministry of Magic."
Harry spoke with a smile, and Narcissa nodded.
"Then..."
Narcissa took a deep breath and nodded at Harry.
"Good luck. I hope you kill him, Harry Potter."
With those words, Narcissa vanished into thin air.
