"Demanding that Amosta hand over his wand?"
Before Amosta could react, Sirius frowned first and said angrily,
"What right do they have to make such a demand?!"
"Exactly—"
Remus nodded, displeasure evident in his eyes.
"Taking a wizard's wand is like pulling out a Dragon's claws and fangs. It's an extremely rude demand. And Amosta isn't a criminal under surveillance; they have no right to do this. But..."
After a moment's hesitation, Remus looked at Amosta.
"Their purpose is obvious enough."
"A bunch of cowards!"
Sirius said loudly and disdainfully. "If they're afraid, couldn't they simply refuse Amosta entry?"
"Clearly, MACUSA—or rather, the officials who made this decision—are curious about Amosta. They want to meet him, but they also have to take his destructive power into account. Honestly, I'm not that surprised they came up with this idea. After all, New York was once severely damaged by a powerful wizard."

"If we really do that—"
Amosta smiled.
"You'll find that MACUSA will pass the relevant legislation at an astonishing speed. As long as a wizard deemed a major threat to the United States applies for entry, the entry and exit management center will have the authority to confiscate that wizard's wand as it sees fit."
The indignant Remus and Sirius fell silent.
MACUSA was plainly wary of Amosta. They really might do exactly that.
"What if—"
After thinking for a while, Remus suggested,
"What if you use your position
