The goblin drove a slightly battered mine cart through the entrance to the Underground Vault, taking Andy deep beneath the earth.
"Isn't anyone guarding the vaults?" Andy asked curiously.
After entering the Underground Vault, Andy had not seen a single goblin.
"The situation has been rather unstable lately. Many wizards have left the British Wizarding World, so our work has become much easier."
The goblin explained, "Besides, no one can steal even a single Bronze Knut from Gringotts' vaults."
Andy snorted. "Then what are we doing here?"

Just like the Wizarding World, the long years of peace had made these goblins accustomed to a comfortable life.
Gringotts had never been robbed, so they naturally assumed it never would be.
"Come to think of it..."
Andy asked another question. "Aren't you worried that the Death Eaters might attack Gringotts?"

Andy understood.
Thinking about it, Sirius Black had escaped from prison as the last descendant of the Black Family, yet he could still use the family's wealth.
That was clearly thanks to Gringotts!
Looking at it that way, Gringotts' existence did make some sense.
If the Wizarding World's banks were managed by the Ministry of Magic, then the moment Sirius was arrested, the Ministry would have confiscated all of the Black Family's assets.
Andy reflected on it.
If he had to choose between Gringotts and a bank run by the Ministry of
