Background

Bibi Dong was raised by Spirit Hall and enjoyed exceptional treatment because of her Twin Martial Souls, earning recognition as its “Star of Tomorrow.” Despite those privileges, she developed deep hatred toward Spirit Hall and the Angel lineage. Wei Feng later characterizes her past as tragic enough to leave her “pitiful” and “crazy,” an assessment she feels is the first objective understanding of her circumstances. 138

Shortly after Qian Renxue was born, Bibi Dong adopted Wei Feng and made him her personal disciple. Wei Feng was only one or two months older than Qian Renxue, while Bibi Dong regarded Qian Renxue as an accursed child and did not treat her warmly. 3
