After settling the dispute over the Spiritual Treasures, Chen Siyu and Chen Ruixuan's fame in the Primordial World grew ever louder. One day, they heard that a Mysterious Ruins had appeared in the far western lands of the Primordial World. It was said that the ruins held endless treasures and secret techniques, drawing many Cultivators to explore. Curiosity sparked in the siblings' hearts, and without hesitation, they set off on a journey to the far west.
Along the way, they crossed dense forests and forded rushing rivers. After a long trek, they finally arrived at the site of the Mysterious Ruins. Before them stood an ancient, majestic structure, shrouded in a mysterious mist that obscured its full form. The ruins' great door was tightly shut, covered in strange runes that seemed to whisper tales of old.
Chen Ruixuan rushed forward impatiently, reaching out to push the door open, only to be flung back by an invisible force. "Ouch!" He landed on his rear, looking up at Chen Siyu with a pitiful expression. Chen Siyu stepped forward and studied the runes on the door closely. Suddenly, she noticed one of them flicker, as if offering a clue.
A flash of inspiration struck Chen Siyu. Following the order in which the runes flickered, she gently touched them with her small hand. As she did, the great door slowly swung open, releasing a wave of ancient, stale air. The siblings exchanged an excited glance, then hand in hand, stepped into the ruins.
Inside, the light was dim. Gems embedded in the walls gave off a faint glow, barely illuminating the path ahead. They moved along a narrow corridor, its stone walls carved with strange patterns and characters. Curious, Chen Ruixuan pointed at one carving and asked, "Sister, what's this picture? Looks like someone fighting a big monster." Chen Siyu tilted her head and looked. "I'm not sure either," she said. "Maybe it's a story left behind by the ruins' master."
As they walked on, they came to a spacious hall. In the center stood a massive stone platform, upon which rested a gleaming box. Just as they were about to approach, four stone warriors appeared from the corners of the hall. Their eyes slowly opened, gleaming with a cold light, and they charged at the siblings, weapons raised.
Chen Siyu remained calm. She drew a Five-Colored Ribbon from her waist, and it danced through the air, radiating a soft glow. The light enveloped the stone warriors, slowing their movements. Seizing the chance, Chen Ruixuan picked up a stone from the ground and hurled it at one of the warriors. The stone struck with a crisp sound, and cracks spread across the warrior's body.
With the siblings' combined efforts, the four stone warriors shattered one by one. They smoothly reached the stone platform and opened the gleaming box. Inside lay an ancient book and a pill radiating dense spiritual energy. Chen Siyu picked up the book, its cover bearing the bold characters "Chaos Spirit Rhinoceros Technique." She flipped it open, revealing a wondrous cultivation method—one that, when practiced, could resonate with the Chaos Power of heaven and earth, granting immense strength.
Chen Ruixuan picked up the pill and asked curiously, "Sister, what's this? It looks tasty." Chen Siyu smiled. "It should be a pill that boosts cultivation. But we can't eat it yet—let's study it first when we get back."
Just as they were about to leave the ruins, a massive vortex suddenly appeared on the hall's wall. From within came a sinister laugh: "You think you can leave easily just because you've found treasures? Leave your lives behind!" As the words echoed, a huge black tentacle reached out from the vortex, lunging toward the siblings.
