Ch. 5Danzo's Death

At the village gate, the Uchiha and Konoha’s leadership nearly clashed over Danzo’s death and the Sharingan embedded in his arm, until Sarutobi Hiruzen arrived.

  • Danzo attacked Uchiha Toko with Wind Style and tried to kill him with Izanagi, but Toko’s Mizuhanome dispelled the illusion and caused Danzo to disappear.

Ch. 8Uchiha Toko's Plan

Uchiha Toko announced plans to expand the Military Police Force, recruit Commoner Ninja, and use clan ninjutsu as rewards to bring the Uchiha closer to the villagers. As he set out to investigate Root, its remaining operatives destroyed documents before Aburame Ryoma attacked him.

  • Kakashi remembered that he had never visited Obito’s grandmother, while Uchiha Toko returned to the Military Police Force and went to the Interrogation Room.

Uchiha Toko led the Military Police Force to the Shimura Clan Territory to bring clan members in for questioning over their ties to Root, despite Uchiha Itachi trying to stop him. The named Shimura suspects were arrested, and Toko warned Shimura Hiro that the clan’s funeral for Danzo was inappropriate.

  • Sarutobi Hiruzen sent Uchiha Itachi to stop Uchiha Toko from taking a squad to the Shimura Clan Territory.
  • Uchiha Toko confronted Itachi in front of gathered villagers and insisted that Itachi address him by his title while on duty.
