Background

Shyarly was a small Shark Merfolk when the Roger Pirates visited Fish-Man Island. During their stay, she met Austin, then an intern aboard Roger's crew, and provided divination for the crew; she predicted Poseidon's imminent birth. She is Arlong's younger sister. 20 433

Years later, Shyarly opened a Mermaid Café on Fish-Man Island. By the time Austin returned after his clash with Whitebeard, she had grown into a young woman and had already foreseen their reunion. She correctly identified that Austin intended to ask who would become the future Pirate King. 190

When pressed to examine Fish-Man Island's fate, Shyarly saw fragmented images of its near-destruction by someone wearing a straw hat, followed by its eventual salvation.
