The First World: Perfect World
The Immortal Alliance slowly came to a stop in the endless Chaos Sea.
Before it, a colossal world barrier floated silently, like an amber piece abandoned at the end of the river of time.
It exudes an ancient, desolate, yet indestructible aura. On the ramparts, one can vaguely see dried, blood-red marks, as if telling the story of the terrifying attacks it once withstood, attacks powerful enough to make even Immortal King bleed.
Bixiao's beautiful eyes lit up instantly, like a cat that had found a new toy. She excitedly clenched her fists, and her knuckles cracked loudly.
"My lord! This tortoise shell looks so hard! Let me punch it and see if it's harder than my fist!"
She was about to rush out when she spoke, looking eager to try.
"Don't be reckless." Yun Xiao frowned slightly and reached out to stop her. "The power of the laws on this barrier is perfectly integrated, and its sturdiness is probably no less than that of a barrier set up by a saint with all his might."
Upon hearing the level of a saint, Bixiao restrained herself slightly, but still pouted with a look of unconvinced dissatisfaction.
Seeing this, Qin Feng simply smiled and reached out to affectionately ruffle Bixiao's hair.
"No need for that trouble."
He strode to the very front of the Immortal Alliance, put his hands behind his back, and strolled leisurely as if he were in his own backyard.
Under the curious gazes of the goddesses, Qin Feng stretched out his right hand and gently touched the world barrier that was strong enough to withstand the attack of Immortal King.
There was no earth-shattering roar, no dazzling light as the laws shattered.
His fingertips moved like a key being inserted into a lock.
Centered on the point where his fingertips touched, the seemingly indestructible barrier, like melting ice and snow, silently caved inward, forming an enormous golden vortex. The vortex rotated slowly, without any violent suction force, but instead exuded an aura of holiness, peace, and even a hint of welcome.
Bixiao's mouth slowly opened into an "O" shape.
She looked at her fist, then at the golden vortex that seemed to be opening a door on its own, and finally at Qin Feng, her face full of disbelief.
"This... it opened already? Easier than opening our front door? Husband, is this some kind of master key?"
The goddesses Qiong Xiao and Xi He were also astonished. They had imagined countless ways to break through the barrier, perhaps their husbands would use the Chaos Bead to force it open, or perhaps it would be an earth-shattering battle, but they never expected it to be like this.
This ultimate ease and freedom, more so than any brutal violence, better demonstrates that unfathomable and terrifying power.
Without making a sound, the Immortal Alliance silently slid into the golden vortex, like a fish swimming, and officially entered the universe called "Perfect World".
As soon as he entered, Qin Feng's vast and boundless Spiritual Sense spread out like a tide.
In a mere instant, his will enveloped every corner of this universe. The Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, the Immortal Domain, the Foreign Domain, and even the boundless Sea of Boundaries... everything was laid bare before his perception.
Scenes of tragedy belonging to this world flashed through his heart like movie scenes.
He saw an incomparably arrogant figure, riding an ancient war chariot, issuing that domineering declaration to the entire Immortal Domain: "At the pinnacle of immortality, I An Lan world; with Anlan here, there is heaven!"
He saw, on the long river of time, two peerless powerhouses, filled with regret and resentment, looking back at their homeland at the end of their lives, letting out a silent sigh.
He saw a row of lonely footprints on the embankment leading to darkness and the unknown, stretching alone into the endless distance, each step carrying the weight and solitude of an era.
Blood and fire, war and song, constitute the main theme of this world.
After a brief silence, Qin Feng turned around, looked at the goddesses around him who were also moved by this tragic atmosphere, and calmly commented, "This world is full of tragedy and resilience. Its heroes are too lonely."
Nuwa, as the goddess who created life, felt this most deeply. She sighed softly, "To fight for protection, yet only to walk alone to the end—this loneliness is too heavy."
Qin Feng did not withdraw his Spiritual Sense.
After sweeping across those earth-shattering battlefields and past those Immortal King slumbering in forbidden zones, his gaze began to descend, passing through layers of spiritually rich upper realms, and finally settling on the Eight Domains of the lower realm, in that most desolate and barren Great Wilderness.
"Huh? Husband, why are we in this godforsaken place?" Bixiao asked curiously as she watched the scene change on the Immortal Alliance, which showed a barren land below with pitifully thin spiritual energy.
Qin Feng did not answer, but a playful smile appeared on his lips.
His gaze had already locked onto a small village.
The scene zoomed in again.
At the village entrance, a Little Dot who looked only three or four years old, covered in dirt, was huffing and puffing as he carried a small bronze cauldron that was completely disproportionate to his body, sweating profusely from exhaustion.
The goddesses could clearly see that there was a shocking hole in the child's chest, where a unique bone should have been, but it had been cruelly dug out.
But there was no resentment or dejection on the child's face; instead, a stubborn, unyielding spirit burned in his big, dark eyes.
He put down the cauldron, wiped his sweat, picked up a huge pottery jar, and gulped down beast milk to replenish his strength. Then he began the most basic blood-moving cultivation.
That scene was full of tenacious vitality, like a small grass growing against the wind on a cliff.
Qin Feng's smile deepened.
He turned his head and looked specifically at Shi Ji and Nuwa beside him, a hint of amusement in his eyes.
"Come on, I'll take you to see an interesting child."
He paused, then slowly added a sentence.
"It's quite a coincidence that his village is also called Stone Village."
Upon hearing the name "Stone Village," Shi Ji's delicate body trembled violently, and her eyes instantly welled up with extremely complex emotions.
